Services, included dinner, were all of first class. The garden is an oasis of mesmerising beauty and tranquility in the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The structure is a villa full of echoes from the colonial and literary past of Tangier. I appreciated being upgraded in a larger room. Youssef, the hotel manager, takes care of everyone and everything in a charming way and he is the real soul of the hotel.

The old villa covered by a jungle like garden Is like a vision of a bygone era. The staff Is kind and always ready to help. They prepared a great breakfast, printed our boarding pass, provided pool towels etc... We explored many hotels in Tangier but this Is the most charming of all. You will keep taking photos at every corner of the garden and the interior.

Many guests might find old pavements, handles, lack of aircondition a problem but in my opinion this Is part of the unique beauty of the villa. I actually suggest the owner to never restore the edifice and leave It the way It is. Air condition in Tangier is useless. The weather Is perfect.

It feels like staying in a house not a hotel. The garden is on a slope with several places to look at the view , sit by the pool or have a delicious meal . I stayed in the Tree House which is wonderfully private, close to the pool and has a great view especially at night. Mimi Calpe is close to the port and just round the corner to the reasonable restaurants on the front and yet a short walk to the Medina. The staff are warm and friendly and make it their business to make sure you are happy. I had one meal which was completely delicious with the freshest freshest fish.

Nothing but I should point out that the Tree House is up a lot of steps. I was much fitter after 4 days but might deter someone with bad knees. But then Tangier is up and down everywhere.

Mimi Calpe is one of the loveliest and most unique boutique hotels I have ever stayed at. Entering through the front gate, we were transported from the busy streets of downtown Tangier to a garden paradise. The staff was kind, helpful, and professional, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay. The gardens and pool are stunning and peaceful. Our favorite part of the stay was our room, the treehouse bungalow. It was heavenly to return after a day of sightseeing, walk up the steps through the garden, and arrive at our private, rustic retreat with views of the waterfront. We loved sitting on the little porch in front of our room, watching the birds on the property. Breakfast was divine each morning, and we had the pleasure of enjoying dinner at the hotel one night, which was artfully and carefully prepared. Everything the staff does at Mimi Calpe is done with great care. My husband and I miss it already and will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Tangier last week. The rooms were incredibly beautiful, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The garden and pool area were simply stunning, providing a serene environment for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also greatly enjoyed dining at the hotel; the food was delicious and the service impeccable. Additionally, the hamam and massage services offered were top-notch, adding to the overall relaxation and enjoyment of our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tangier!

However, there were a few minor drawbacks. Our room faced the street, and some nights were quite noisy, which affected our sleep.

The staff were lovely and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel one night and the chef cooked us a delicious three course meal. We loved being able to come back and have a swim in the pool after seeing Tangier. The garden and rooftop terrace are lovely.

The bed was a bit hard and the room was quite dark, even with all the lights on. There were no glasses in the room and nowhere to hang the towels after having a shower.

The property is absolutely charming. I was afraid the garden wouldn’t be as lush and green as the pictures, our trip being in February, but it was impossibly beautiful and fragrant with orange blossoms and many other plants on bloom that I didn’t know. Pictures just don’t do justice! The highlight of my whole Morocco trip was Mimi Calpe’s playful and absolutely heart throbbing, lap sitting cat Simone. Very well cared for. The staff were genuinely nice, honest , hard working and friendly. I am so sorry I don’t know them all by their names to thank them, hats off to Kareem, our very nice friend. We would highly recommend this hotel to any traveller looking to stay in an establishment with character, conveniently located and enjoyable. If you are sensitive to noise do not book the Jardin suit or any rooms facing the street, or bring wax ear plugs though. We are just longing to get back to Mimi Calpe. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.

The hotel is an absolute gem, the gardens are gorgeous, the lounge electric and homely. Our suite was a lovely size, decor was rustic and the beds were very comfortable. We had breakfast everyday for our stay and dinner a couple of nights at the hotel as the environment was chilled, relaxed and our food was absolutely delicious, we were never disappointed and Abduh and .

We went in November so the evenings were chilly. Our bedroom radiators weren’t working properly so we asked for extra bedding which helped. An additional armchair in our suite living room would have been a welcome comfort. The bathroom was lovely, beautiful bath and decor, but staying again, I’ll make sure to bring more toiletries as they aren’t provided.

Pool didn't look inviting, maybe the color of the stone, but didn't look clean. Got to be careful when leaving as there is little to no Path outside, literally straight onto the Road.

Beautiful gardens and great outlook over the sea. Lovely pool and terrace. Good location. Staff wonderful, especially Youssef. He helped us with our travel needs. Food delicious. House cat Simone was gorgeous.

Unfortunately the smell from our bathroom was disappointing. We complained twice to staff. Was given air freshener. This did not work. I know we were in the ‘cheapest’ room, but should not have had to put up with this strong odour. There was an air purifier in room that I had to empty of water twice.
