So close to the busy part of town but quiet and peaceful. The decor was stylish and homely - not stark and minimalist. The safe was large enough to store a laptop and the pool was immaculate. Breakfast with something for everyone. Happy to recommend this place to everyone who has no problem with a few stairs.

The hotel's no smoking policy also applied to all outdoor areas including balconies. Not a problem for me but I know some people who might have a problem with it 🙂

This is a very old hotel, but that said the rooms a clean and comfortable and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, it was quiet and poolside. Phi Phi has a reputation of a party island and we were bit concerned about that. To our surprise, it was lovely, hotel is easy walk to anywhere on the island, beaches, loads of restaurants and bars, shopping and spas. Come 9.30pm it was quiet which we appreciated. Pool area is lovely.

If anything, I would suggest get a few more pool lounges and some shade umbrellas. There are only 7 lounges, but in saying that we always got one when we wanted one.

Excellent large hotel room with big bed. Very spacious. Nice swimming pool with swim up bar. Complimentary drink available on arrival. Excellent location (5 minute walk from the pier). Great breakfast buffet provided in the morning with lots of choice.

Toilet did not flush properly and it was constantly filing up with water. Fitness centre was okay, but no air conditioning. Also, you need to collect a voucher for fitness centre from reception as fitness centre is located at other hotel 5 minutes walk away.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay too. The location was fantastic and surrounded by restaurants and bars. We got our luggage carried to the hotel from the ferry.

The bar closed at 6 which kind of defeated the point of going and having a drink after a tour. The welcome drink was disappointing...you wait at the pool bar for pineapple juice.

The location is 5 mins walk from the pier. Your right in the heart of the town but just the right distance away from all the bars. The room was the best so far i have stayed in thailand. It had a very large bathroom with double sinks and jacuzzi bath with shower. It had it's own large patio area with outdoor shower. The room and a lounge chair, extra large 4 poster bed and seating area. By far the best hotel I stayed in. It had is own pool area within the hotel and a bar. The breakfast was really good and if you arrive early they will look after your luggage until you can check in. I was worried about the noise but once you close all your curtains you can hardly hear it. Room service will clean your room each day and I really liked that the room had a permanent key card inserted so the air con can be kept on all day keeping your room cold from when you get in. I highly recommend this hotel

P.P. Palmtree Resort is perfectly located in the town center, with easy access to all the beaches. Despite the central location, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the hotel features a lovely pool with a pool bar and comfortable loungers. The room includes a convenient control system for lights, air conditioning, and housekeeping requests. Rooms are well-equipped and quiet, even offering an emergency flashlight—a thoughtful touch.

The main downside was the loose power sockets in the room, which made it difficult to keep chargers in place. Bringing an adapter or something more stable for charging would be helpful.

Everything, we got a great discount so we booked the suite and it did not disappoint! The room and balcony were gorgeous and the jacuzzi bath was a lovely added touch. Also the staff were really nice and helpful, giving us fresh fruit, topping up our water and thoroughly cleaning the room for us whilst we were out. The hotel is right in the middle of the main port area surrounded by nice restaurants and bars, but once you go in it’s quiet as a mouse, really nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the town. The breakfast is great too, and the pool area is nicely designed with a pool bar and plenty of sun loungers. We would 100% stay here if we come back to Phi Phi again.

Very well located hotel, right in the center of PP. Even though it is close to everything, it is not noisy at all. Breakfast is good, they have western options (bread, eggs, cakes, fruits, bacon, sausages). The pool is quite nice even though there are not too many sunbeds. Power outlets work fine. They have an interesting system for the lightening of the room, you can control it all thru a dashboard. We were in one of the rooms close to the pool, which had a very nice view of the hotel. Cleanliness is ok. There are things to improve at this hotel, still I recommend it mainly because of the location

- Staff at the reception don't speak English well - Too many mosquitos not only in the pool area but also inside the rooms - Smelly beach towels - Noisy aircon - There could be a curtain or door in the shower to avoid getting the whole bathroom wet when taking a shower

Ideal location, the bellboys that met us to take our luggage from the ferry port to the rooms were 10/10 superb lads, check in was easy and quick, no issues on arrival, the rooms were clean, but in need of a small re-furb, we has booked three rooms, two were upstairs, one was a swim up room, the pool was clean and warm. our whole party of 5 adults and one child aged 22 months had no issues at all, we enjoyed our stay here.

the breakfast could of been a lot better for extra money you pay.

The location is great: walking distance from where you arrive with the boat. And it is in the middle of the main town in Phi Phi and surrounded by restaurants, shops, tour operators, supermarkets and near the beach. Good value for money for us. The room had a great shower, cute balcony and it was quiet when we were there. The pool looked great, we didn't swim because of the rain. There are umbrellas in the closet. I liked the art in the room and the beautiful sink. There's a lot of laundry options a few meters from the hotel. We found it was cheapest and most quick to use the washing machines you can operate yourself. I could stay here again.

Just a note for people who are not able to walk much: there's no elevator, so if you have a room on the second floor you have to go up some stairs, but they can help you with carrying your luggage up. And about breakfast: it did the job, but for good coffee or tea you might need to go elsewhere.
