A Perfect 10/10 Stay at Centro Storico B&B Lecce! From the moment we arrived, our experience at Centro Storico B&B Lecce was nothing short of exceptional. This charming B&B is perfectly nestled in the heart of Lecce's stunning historic centre, allowing for effortless exploration of its baroque beauty. However, what truly elevated our stay to a perfect 10 out of 10 was the incredible hospitality of the host, Filippo. Filippo is a gem! He welcomed us with such warmth and genuine enthusiasm that we instantly felt like we were visiting an old friend. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel completely at home. His recommendations for things to do in Lecce were spot on, leading us to hidden architectural treasures and unforgettable cultural experiences. And when it came to dining, Filippo's local knowledge was invaluable! Every restaurant and trattoria he suggested offered delicious, authentic local cuisine. Thanks to him, we truly experienced the best of Lecce. Beyond the prime location and Filippo's outstanding hospitality, the B&B itself is a delight. Our room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, thanks to the fantastic work of Victoria. Victoria was incredibly helpful and always had a smile. It was such a pleasure to return to a spotless and refreshed room after a day of sightseeing. Her attention to detail truly made a difference to our overall comfort. A particular highlight of Centro Storico B&B Lecce is the rooftop terrace. This tranquil oasis provided a wonderful escape from the vibrant energy of the city below. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of local wine in the evening, the terrace offered a peaceful retreat with lovely views. It was the perfect spot to relax and recharge.

An old palazzo converted into a B&B on the 2nd floor. We were given room 3 which was the original salon - a huge room which had been upgraded to have a large en-suite shower room plus a built in wardrobe with a fridge and kettle area in the other half of the cupboard. There were stairs up to a mezzanine with two additional beds so could be used for a family. All with the luxury of air conditioning. Breakfast is provided using a voucher system with a local pasticceria (Pinti) which is only a couple of minutes away- lovely breakfast of fruit-juice coffee (your choice) and a pastry (again, your choice). They also had a brilliant waiter! “Nonna” Norma was a star - she kept the place spotless! In our last day we had time to kill before our train and Norma looked after our bags and brought them down to ground floor in the service elevator - an external remote controlled hoist suspended from the courtyard ceiling!

Amazing building and location. Our host Filipo was excellent, accosting and helpful. Gorgeous rooftop patio with hot tub and lounge chairs. The rooms spacious really giving you that old world feel. Building itself is a treasure. We also ate at Nonna Tutti next door. The food was amazing. Wish we coulda stayed longer. Loved everything about out stray.

Beautiful historic building in old town Lecce. Close to city buses and a 20 minute walk to the train station. Big room with high ceilings. Antique chandelier and wardrobes adorned the room. Breakfast vouchers you could use at two cafes within a 10 minute walk. Pasticceria Pinti was my favourite. Large rooftop terrace with lots of seating. Filippo and Alberto were helpful and responsive, and Nora's kindness absolutely made my stay. I would definitely stay there again!

As someone who likes very cool AC, I thought the lowest setting could have been cooler.

Good location but two flights of steps to get to the room, bad for elderly mom who was with us. We specifically asked about steps and were told the room was on the same floor as reception, they neglected to say reception was on the second floor. Bad choice for anyone with mobility issues. Rooftop jacuzzi access was by reservation only and at an additional cost.

No onsite breakfast option, just directions to a nearby cafe that offered pastries, nothing close to an American breakfast. Teen boys need eggs! So we had to find food elsewhere.

one of the best things about the place was the welcome we got. I don't know what the lady's name is but we called her nonna. she's my adopted granny now, she thought I was "bimba". Anyway the room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Fabulous location and plenty of storage space. Roof terrace was lovely but we didn't use it much. Breakfast was at a spot around the corner, perfectly fine. Such a pretty building .

It was very clean and very well located. The staff were amazing! Very attentive and super kind.

Would be nice to have a mirror in the room, not only in the bathroom. There is a rooftop with a jacuzzi, however in order to use you need to pay an extra fee. Breakfast included was in a patisserie close by but we could only order 3 items but not so many options (a lot of sweets).

Perfect location, lovely place in great condition, historical feel, roof terrace great, host was very helpful and friendly - map and recommendations fantastic

Coffee. There was a kettle and instant, and a well priced trust mini-bar (thank you) but the complementary items were limited and the lack of a coffee machine was a disappointment. We would like to be able to make a decent cup of coffee in the morning - suggest perhaps a machine in the hall - or pod machines in the room?

Delightful period property, charmingly presented.and our room was extremely spacious. Ideally located in the old city - convenient and quiet street. We could keep popping back while exploring this amazing place. The host Alberto gave so much useful information that enhanced our 3 night stay. The roof top garden was a great haven to relax in and everything we needed had been thoughtfully provided. Nora was also a very friendly and helpful presence every day

Greeted in a very friendly way, and got a thorough introduction to the room, hotel, and Leece old city. Someone was always on hand to help if I needed it. Very, very clean. Lovely rooftop terrace with sitting areas. There was a jacuzzi , too, although I didn't see anyone using it. Vaulted ceilings in all the rooms

No elevator, but it's a histric building, so there's nothing can be done. They did kindly help me with my luggage. The only thing I really didn't like was that I didn't stay long enough!
