The location can't be beat. I sat out on the balcony and watched the sunrise, listened to the crashing waves, watched a storm roll in. I even sat out there during the storm as the balcony was covered. The staff was amazing, answering all my questions, noting my concerns (our beds were very uncomfortable, need to be replaced as there were dips in the middle), met us in the parking lot and struck up a conversation.

Our beds, they were very uncomfortable. In fact, my husband said, I would definitely stay here again if we didn't have these beds. I didn't realize each room was owned by someone so when I brought up the concern to the desk at check out the very nice woman informed me of this and made a note of it. I also told her a suggestion of having a table on the balcony as we had nowhere to set books, glasses, etc except our laps, she made note of that as well.

The best beach location you can ask for. Literally right up on the beach with a beautiful balcony. Was worried the mini fridge wouldn’t be big enough but it was pretty much a full sized fridge with a little freezer up top! The dedicated beach access and outdoor showers were fantastic as well. Super quiet and peaceful. Parking was good and secure. Bathroom was good. Microwave came in handy. Ample places to put things or sit/rest on. Having onsite ice was also fantastic. Overall absolutely loved this location and motel and will be back yearly!

Could have used a few more towels from the start but was able to get more. Wasn’t sure how to put out the dirty towels for more then finally saw the bag at the end of the stay on the counter that I thought was just a trash bag. Also was unsure if we were supposed to take trash out or not and if so where.

Our room was very modern, large size, directly on the beach, dog friendly, lots of parking, beach theme, large patio, all kitchen appliances needed including an apartment size fridge.

Bring a roku stick because tv is very basic and there are hardly any movies just sports, reality, news shows for the evening or rainy days. Also bring food, because there are very few restaurants nearby. We found one place for breakfast on the pier with a very limited menu. It was good. If you want to escape the crowd. This is the place to be. We liked it.

The room was clean and comfortable . A couple things would have made it a little nicer, Shampoo in the shower, Shower was very comfortable. also a small amount of kleenex would have made it better.

Located on the beach at the Southside of TopsailI Island. The beach was uncrowded. There is not much to the property, but the room was large, had a compact fridge with freezer along with a microwave and toaster. A balcony with comfortable chairs overlooking the ocean.

There was nothing annoying.

Was really surprised by this facility. We were looking for something that was special. This fit the bill. My fiance and I like the nostalgic feel with the modern touches.

No elevator

Convenient. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Great beach.

Location is excellent. I like that it’s a relaxing little spot, on the ocean, old school motel, allows dogs, and is on a NC beach that hasn’t fallen to corporate yet. It’s coming, but it hasn’t lost its quaintness yet.

Build an elevator on the side for older and disabled folks.

Beautiful ocean front property! Staff professional and kind. There is a security gate for entering and exiting property. Beds super comfortable and room has all the essentials for private stay without large hotel crowds and noise. Our dog gives 4 paws up for the dog friendly accommodations.

Fantastic location. Room was clean and stocked. Nice to have a full size fridge. Yes, it is older and not a Hilton but you’re on the beach, wake and go to sleep to the waves, and basically have the beach to yourself.
