We were at the Beach Club for 4 days in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. The wallabies in the downstairs garden were lovely to watch. The breakfast was very good with lots of delicious food to choose from. Our favourite was smashed avocado and fresh juices. We had dinner there and it was also delicious. The staff was amazing, friendly, and professional. They gave us suggestions as to where to go and what to see. They also were so kind to drop us off and pick us up almost every night when we went out for dinner as it was raining at night during our stay. The heated swimming pool overlooking the ocean was also very good and relaxing. Beach towels, and water sports activities were also included. The bed and cushions were very comfortable. Loved that was for adults only! We took the ferry and visited Airlie Beach and we had a nice lunch at The Pub. The Whitehaven Beach is a must-do! Just beautiful every way you look! We strongly recommend to stay at the Beach Club!

The location of the Beach Club was amazing, directly on the beach front. The staff were very friendly, dressed well, well mannered and helpful. Breakfast in the Dining Room was included as part of the daily rate. Use of non-motorised water craft was also included and sailing one of the catamarans was a highlight. The bath was large and relaxing.

The room smelt of mould, when we first entered it after being closed up during the day, even though the air conditioning ran 24/7. The replenishment of complimentary consumables was inconsistent, but I was given what I needed, when I asked though. A microwave in the room would have been helpful.

Everything was great! Room was well eqiupped and bed was super comfy. Beach just outside our front door and wet edge pool was beautiful. Great breakfast and coffee. Would highly recommend the AVT off road tour. Tommy was excellent! The Clubhouse Restaurant at the Golf Course was next level incredible and view was stunning! Pebble Beach Restaurant at Qualia didn't even come a close second.

No small meals available for a casual night in only the upmarket Restaurant. Ended up going to the Bar at the Reef Hotel and got take away. No ice available for guests - A self serve ice machine would be a nice add on for guests especially with the temp being so hot and humid.

If you're travelling to Hamilton Island then book this hotel before it sells out (we wanted to stay for 5 nights and were only able to book 2). What we loved: The free airport transfer - you don't even need to collect your suitcases, the hotel team take care of this for you. The free access to the healthclub over the road - the gym has everything you could need for a great workout! Breakfast was a la carte and delicious Every member of staff was super helpful and welcoming The private pool, beach area and access to free activies like sailing and paddleboarding The free transfers around town whenever you need The wallabies that hang around the grounds It really was a perfect stay

It was absolutely perfect, nothing not to like.

Stunning location - beachfront, quiet with beautiful pool to laze by. Plenty of deck chairs both pool and beach with bar service. Lovely big room, modern interior, very comfy bed, spotlessly clean and views to the water. Staff so helpful and lovely - provide on demand transfers around the island in addition to excellent service at the bar, restaurant and front desk. They make everything so easy and pleasant. Such a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Breakfast menu could do with a little modernising - but still generous, fresh and mostly delicious with excellent service. This wouldn’t stop us coming back again at all!

The location, the room size, comfortable bed, the house keeping staff, and restaurant staff were great. ( the assistant manager at breakfasts) The friendly wait staff (Oli) at dinner was very welcoming, he spoke so highly of beach club it was very nice to see. He also said if we had any requests he would do what he could to make it easier for us.

The lack of a sink in the kitchen area to wash coffee cups, or a tea towel to dry the cups. No microwave to heat up some food if we needed. It would have been better if the reception staff were more open and communicative with us particularly when we arrived on the island. Some of the drivers barely spoke to us. One male driver (he was helping beach club out as he worked for Qualia) on our second last day was very friendly and informed us of activities and suggestions for us.

We loved the breakfast which was included. It's a sit down menu where you can pick what you like. Make sure you ask for the juice of the day. Our room was on the bottom floor which was great as the outside seats looked at the beach. We had friendly wallabies and curlews every morning and evening.

We are vegetarian. The lunch and dinner menus were very meat centric, so it was a bit limiting for us. There is a cafe, bakery and IGA, so it was easy to get vegetarian options.

The location was absolutely stunning being right on Catseye beach with access to lots of fun activities included in our stay. The brunch was a highlight! It's al a carte and included in your stay (highly recommend the pancakes and the potato rosti!). The staff were lovely and always went out of their way to help us. The free shuttle service was a nice touch! I wouldn't recommend renting a buggy since you have access to this. The best restaurant on the island was Coca Chu in our opinion!

Overall it was a great experience. I wish that a bit more information about the hotel and the island had been provided during check-in as they bring you into the lobby, have you sign some forms, and then send you on your way with not a ton of explanation about where everything is or how the hotel works. That being said, we were able to figure it out quite quickly.

Location lovely - pick up from airport excellent. Room clean and spacious

Service unfailingly pleasant but woefully amateur. Young inexperienced staff with little evident supervision. Housekeeping failed to clear used cups/glasses or restock minibar. Warned at check in to check bill as “often mistakes made” - and glad we did! Bar staff and waitstaff eating and talking loudly in the bar with customers present - not professional. Two cocktails and a coke took 20 minutes to prepare by two bartenders for the only 3 customers there. Need better training and supervision all round.

lovely outlook onto lawns and then beach. Felt private and a little exclusive. Service - nothing too much trouble and delivery of food to room was easy. Ice, cutlery all with a smile. pick up to and from airport great and fliexible. Breakfast was good and coffee quality excellent

Dinner was very good indeed (if expesnive) but very rich and filling so wouldn't want to eat there each night and yet it was very difficult to find anything with availability on the island for around 7pm. Wine list was expensive
