The apartment was fabulous, three great bedrooms and the bathtub in the main bedroom was incredible! So much space, both inside and out, and the views were spectacular. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and everyone really loved it. The pool area was suitable for the children and pool towels were really helpful. The surrounding area was lovely, good choice of places to eat nearby and just a short walk to the beach, round the marina, to the main town where there were more food outlets and shops. So glad that a last minute cancellation of an existing booking meant that we found this place instead!

Huge and really well equipped apartment in an amazing location. The views from the balcony are fabulous, what a way to wake up- we never closed the blinds! Close enough to town but away from the main noise, only a 5 minute walk to everything. Super comfortable beds and a great relaxing stay.

A couple of places where refurbishment a bit of refurbishment would be good - around the showers - but nothing major. Sometimes the hot water took a while to come through. We noticed at the end of the holiday that the back of the bedroom tv (which we never turned on) could do with a good clean but you can only see it from the balcony.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Australia. My family (three couples) stayed at The Boathouse Apartments. What a fabulous choice we made. The location on the marina was unbelievable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was beautiful, so spacious, a fabulous open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. One huge en suite bedroom and two ordinary size additional doubles, all three had a private balcony either overlooking the pool or the marina. There was also a second bathroom and fully equipped laundry area as well as ample storage space for travellers. The kitchen had everything, almost home from home, so well thought out!! We loved the view and just sitting on the balcony morning and evening was beautiful. The pool area and tennis court was great, we uesed both. A lovely short walk into the main area for restaurants, shops and all amenities. We did a boat trip from the Marina. Just everything about The Boathouse was brilliant. We would thoroughly recommend and we really hope to return one day. Thank you so much.

The apartment was beautiful, with views over the boats and the pool on the other side. The staff were lovely. The washer and dryer were very good quality.

It’s a little walk from the main stretch, but completely flat so not bad. The wifi isn’t very good - not enough to get any work done. The air conditioning can’t keep up with the heat and design of the apartment (louvers everywhere), so it wasn’t as cool as I’d want it to be, even at night. The dining options close by aren’t the greatest. One of the showers sprayed water everywhere

Upon arrival, reception should have provided a 2 minute explanation of the surrounds, where to find a swimming beach, where to find the ferry terminal, explained where local buses go to. It took until the third day to get internet access. Explain how to connect the tv to the internet. We were given the wrong internet passcode for the tv.

Gorgeous room and super spacious. Above some cafes etc so easy access to food as it’s not super close to everything (but close enough). Great pick if you’re coming/going from the ferry. Pool was great and the staff were very lovely and accommodating. Amenities and supplies were great. Great views!

Slightly separated from the main strip and can on the odd occasion be loud with people walking around the marina. But that’s like most places. Other than that it’s great! Would recommend!

Exceptional location, 10 minutes' walk to town and less than five to Port of Airlie. Balconies off each bedroom and the lounge room. Ducted aircon and fans in every room and on balconies. Master suite has a large ensuite and huge bath. Good sized bedrooms. Loads of storage. Six-seater dining table, sofas, balcony furniture. Large TV with soundbar. Gorgeous views of the marina. Lift to each level. Super helpful and friendly reception team.

Beds cosy but too soft for stomach sleepers!

Loved our view, and location...close to town but without noise and traffic. Enjoyed the tennis court and pool (although it was much cooler than we had expected!).

Getting in and out of the bath to take a shower! I'm average height and pretty fit, but the bath edge was very high. Separate shower would have been better. Also, very noisy group of men moved in several apartments along after our first night, sounded like they started drinking early in the afternoon, several days in a row!

The Washer/Dryer was put on Wash/Dry for a quick cycle however just kept going. At 4am when i heard it was still going i cancelled to cycle, and took my sons footy uniform out and had to dry it under the fan. This was a big inconvenience and he had to wear a damp uniform the next day. Not sure if the machine was broken, we find it hard to believe that this would be normal. Also you cannot Lock the door internally, so little one could still open the door and leave the apartment even though we thought we had locked the door, upon pushing the handle down it automatically unlocks.

The ammenities in the room were excellent, as was the room itself. Fantastic view of the marina from our room, and our balcony. Excellent location - only a short 5 minute walk to the main streets/esplanade. Great facilities (pool and small tennis court) and convenient and safe undercover parking. Was also handy that the tours we had booked could pick us up and drop us off at our hotel.
