I like the location just 3 minutes from the beach. Great big balcony with amazing views. Big apartment with all kitchen dishes and appliances.

I didn't like that the table in the apartment was all sticky and didn't feel clean. Also, don't understand why guests need to wash and out away all dishes otherwise they need to pay $60. Never happened to me that I would need to wash and out away dishes otherwise I get charge extra. I thought that's why I pay so much money for the accommodation that the housekeeping does the cleaning. Also don't like that the hotel is not sustainable and tells guests to keep air con running nonstop otherwise that would be a problem with mold. I think they might be more sustainable solutions than running two air con units nonstop in one apartment.

The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. The view was breathtaking! Having the island shuttle bus terminating its loop right at the apartment reception was a big plus!! Cockatoos visiting the balcony all the time were cute - like friends dropping by.

Beware of food with the cockatoos - either eating outside or leaving the balcony doors wide open when you're not in the living room!! The property insists on using air conditioning at all times in wet season for humidity control - we would have been more comfortable without it on much of the time (we like hot & humid!)

Fantastic location directly opposite Catseye Beach and the Bougainvillea Pool. Great space, quite big for a hotel room. Like the way we could configure the beds in living area (put them together for a large double, or keep them separate). Looks of storage space under beds. Kitchen was well appointed and a good size. Lovely view of Catseye Beach. Having the shuttle bus stop located at reception was a bonus, and ample buggy spaces in front of reception too. Staff were always friendly and helpful. We required someone to look at our air conditioner which was leaking, and the maintenance man was super quick to attend, friendly and efficient in fixing the problem :) Highly recommend this accommodation for a family of 4 or 5. We liked the flexibility of having the extra bed in the main bedroom, and the vanity/extra bathroom sink in the main bedroom in addition to the main bathroom. House keeping was great too. We loved the pool and always plenty of space for everyone, despite being school holidays.

We attended a wedding, and the catering was very good. Our unit from a high floor had lovely views. The bus transfer from the marina was easy and convenient. We enjoyed walking to a lookout point and regularly walked over to the marina area where we patronized the bakery and supermarket. Our unit had a kitchen with full oven with cooktop. No dishwasher however the dish washing supplies were replenished and I received a replacement tea towel when I requested one. Bath towels were replaced daily. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi.

We had rain on 2 days, so I went to the 'lounge area' to see what games were available. This area could use a little love and attention. This was a very minor issue.

One BDRM apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and had beautiful views. Would have had more than enough space for a family of 4, if you're ok with 1 toilet. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Great bush walking trails just a few steps away. Has own pools but you can also access facilities at some neighbouring resorts.

We had some sub-optimal experiences with either food quality or service at surrounding food outlets. Suggest purchasing food at the IGA and using the room's kitchen to mostly self-cater. Can't leave balcony doors open even when in the apartment due to bold cockies, but can't blame the resort for wildlife. Similarly, need to avoid wallaby scat on the grounds and paths throughout this part of the island.

Great apartment. Comfy bed. Excellent air conditioning. Great to have an equipped kitchen. Lovely pool and gardens.

It would be awesome to have a cafe/bar so you could hang by the pool all day. The pool lounges are very hard. They need cushions on them.

Best location right on Catseye Beach. You have the beach across the street and all the pools available (including the pool strictly for your apartment block) at your fingertips! Magnificent location with the view of the island straight in front of you. The Blue and Green free island shuttle buses stop right out the front of the apartment reception so no need to walk to transit anywhere. Best location if you like to walk to the marina and not take the bus so you get your exercise in while looking at the beautiful surrounds on the way to the Marina

The view from the apartments is lovely - classic Whitsundays. You can only glimpse the sunset from here but the daytime view is lovely. The resort pool is pretty good but even better is the public pool next to the beach below the apartments - or the sea at high tide. There are only a few places to eat very nearby but the shops are only a 10 minute walk away and there is also a free public shuttle that comes every 15 minutes. The apartments themselves are very clean and comfortable, with full kitchens.

A later checkout would have been appreciated. The kitchen extraction fan blows straight back into the kitchen.

We loved our stay at Whitsunday Apartments. Our stay here was a dream and Whitsunday Apartments exceeded all our expectations. We chose a Deluxe room (with a view of the coral sea), the view was incredible and we were very lucky to have a newly refurbished apartment. The cleanliness was impeccable, inside the apartment there was everything you need, every day the towels were changed and rubbish was collected, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a shuttle every 10 minutes that went to the marina and the centre. We could not have chosen better, the only regret is that we were only there for a few days. Thank you to all the staff, hope to see you soon.
