The hotel is located right in the heart of Brno, with everything within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and my request for a quiet room was handled perfectly. I stayed in a spacious Suite on the 10th floor with a beautiful view over the city and a balcony. The suite had a separate living room and bedroom, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding: very extensive and well-organized, with plenty of attentive staff. The WiFi was fast and reliable throughout the hotel. Overall, the value for money was excellent and I will come back for sure when visiting Brno again.

The suite could get quite warm, and it was difficult to regulate the temperature properly. Also, the shower was located inside the bathtub, which made getting in and out a bit uncomfortable. Although the shower itself worked well, a walk-in shower would have been preferable.

Freshly renovated room on the 9th floor with a great city view. The room is modern and has a good style. The bed is comfortable (harder than average, which is a plus for me), the continental breakfast was tasty. Location between the downtown walking area and the castle hill is perfect, the hotel's own private parking area is also an advantage (€18 / night extra cost).

The floor tiles and the shower was slippery. I missed the towel dryers / hangers in the bathroom.

The lady at the reception was very polite and friendly—excellent service! Good breakfast with a wide variety of food. The location is fantastic, the rooms are spacious, and overall, it was a very pleasant hotel experience.

The restaurant staff was overly attentive, barely giving me a chance to finish my meal before immediately clearing the plates. At times, it felt disruptive and gave the impression that they wanted guests to finish quickly and leave the restaurant. The WC in the hotel room was somewhat dirty, with visible marks on the toilet. Last time, I didn’t pay much attention to it. The windows do not provide sufficient noise insulation from the street (I had a castle view). Trams could be heard throughout the night.

The location of the hotel is super convenient, the hotel actual two entrances, the side entrance being much closer to the centre. The room was well equipped, I especially appreciated the power sockets with integrated USB-C charging port. The shower glass which could turn from transparent to opaque at a flip of a switch was a cool feature. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, included a chef and also vegan and gluten-free options. Highly recommended!

I was travelling solo and I was under the impression that I had booked a room with a large bed (perhaps not), however I would have appreciated the staff to ask me which room I’d have preferred. Also, there was no wardrobe in the room, just a few hangers, I’d appreciate more storage space.

The position, breakfast and the restaurant on the floor were very good.

The first impression on the arrival by reception was not good. We arrived with two dogs 30 minutes before the check-in and the answer was: Check-in at 2 p.m. only. After us arrived 20 minutes a couple with a disable child and the answer was the same. The girl at the reception didn’t try to have an empathy with the both situation and was not so much friendly. Rules could be break in different cases, and the people at the reception should be understand when is necessary to do it! After all they work with people and not with robots. By check-out another girl was very friendly. Apart from that, the carpet in the room 912 was very dirty, with a lot of hair and piece of things. The rest of the room was clean but not 100%.

We wanted to have a drink at the bar one evening. The staff noticed us but nobody approached to take our order yet they were even looking at us quite strangely and probably wanted us to leave - considering the looks they gave us, so we of course left and rather went to the city. That wasn’t a great experience, even when we considered the bar was to be open for another two to three hours, we were wearing nice clean clothes and didn’t look suspicious or drunk. We then never visited the bar again.

This hotel is excellent and one of my favorites. It is centrally located in a way that the hustle and bustle of the city center won't disturb you. The room, like the rest of the hotel, is very modern. The mini-fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks, the air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the room offered a lovely view of Špilberk Castle. The breakfast was amazing, offering everything you could want. Both the restaurant and room service were good, and all four dishes I tried were excellent—big props to the executive chef and his team. The hotel also has numerous facilities, including a casino for the lucky ones. I did encounter an issue with the mini-fridge not working. The facility manager arrived within three minutes and determined it was not repairable. After speaking with the gentleman at reception, who was very eager to resolve the problem, I was well compensated, which I greatly appreciated. I won't consider any other hotel when visiting Brno again.

The only downside is that on weekends and special holidays, the hotel gets fully booked. With many guests comes a lot of noise, which can be annoying if you're trying to sleep early. However, during the week, especially on Monday, it was very quiet.

Centrally located, with friendly and helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast with all sorts of choices that were often refilled. Comfortable room with a great view from the 10th floor to the Spilberk. Executive floor access means a VIP lounge is available with drinks and comfy place to relax or work. The food at the restaurant Pylsenska was excellent and as well priced if not better than restaurants nearby. The rooms seem to go through frequent renovation, so the hotel remains fresh even though it is in a landmark building opened in the early 1960s which has retained its character whilst adding comfort.

The outside stairs at the back entrance of the hotel - where you’d walk to the shops - could do with a ramp somewhere to aid getting suitcases up and down or for those with accessibility requirements. The original cut through on the side is currently closed for building work, so perhaps that is being added.

Central location overlooking Špilberk; everything is 5min away; easy access when arriving by car; available garage (charged separately); a solid size of the room; very quiet even though construction works are nearby (top quality soundproof windows); bar/restaurant downstairs is great for daytime work; rich breakfast buffet; great housekeeping

Walk-in shower looks fancy (the whole bathroom does) but is unpractical as the glass panel doesn't prevent water from splashing the bathroom floor; no place to unpack luggage because the storage space is tiny

Perfect location, sparkling clean room with comfy beds and the breakfast buffet is simply superb.

The aircon was not working and we had 26 deg C in the room (in April). We had to ask about it at the reception and were told to open the window. The bathroom is see-through and when the light is on, it enlightens the rest of the room too, which was disturbing at night for our family of three. We would also appreciate a rather normal (i.e. completely sealing) doors to the toilet. Parking Infront of the hotel is expensive but we knew in advance.
