Breakfast was made from local ingredients, with a selection of cold cuts, cheese, fruit, and yogurt always available. There were also several types of baked goods.
Parking is problematic. The house does not have its own parking spaces. Guests are reliant on a public parking lot, which is free of charge but always occupied during the day by visitors to the beach, which is rare and also heavily frequented. Public parking is free, but cars are often parked haphazardly, ignoring parking restrictions, and they may even block your vehicle.

I counted, it’s 250 steps to the beach! Room 2 has a beautiful view of the ocean. Great breakfast included. Clean rooms and clean shared space. Nice to have access to a kitchen. Staff was happy to wash and hang dry a load of laundry for us, 10 euro. They even provide beach towels! Nice quiet little town with dramatic water front to sit on. We rented a surf board for the day yesterday, this was easy and fun. Cute restaurant within walking distance but also lots of food options in Porto Moniz which is only 13min drive away. We booked 2 nights and then extended to 3.
Nothing.

Very small, quiet, only 4 rooms bed and breakfast place. Our room (no. 2) was nice, bright, clean and pretty big, as well as the bathroom (where we had NO trouble with hot water, which was mentioned in couple other reviews). It is only couple hundred metres away from the famous black-sand beach as well as from small supermarket and some restaurants. Very calm neighbourhood and great starting point for exploring the northern/western part of the island.
Contrary to our room, the rest of the house is quite dark and has a very unique "traditional/old" decorations which were a bit too much for our preferencies (especially the altar in the entrance), but for some it might create an atmosphere. The breakfast, rather basic, was served around one big table for all the guests together which surprised us quite a lot and wasn't comfortable for us (especially as the dinning room is so big that it would easily fit couple smaller tables). The housekeeper, however nice she might be, was standing still in the kitchen while we were eating which made us quite uncomfortable, as she would be only waiting for us to be finally finished...

Very nice, cosy house in the center of town, with traditional furniture and decoration. Close to the beach and parking nearby. Room was nice, had everything you would need. Breakfast was also good, with option to sit outside when the weather is nice. Good option to be able to collect your room key through a lockbox with code, in case there's no one there to receice you.
Unfortunately when you opened the window, the view was straight at a rundown shed or something like it, with some junk laying on the floor there. There wasn't that much to see or do in Seixal in my opinion, beside the natural swimming pool and the beach with its views. Kind of hard to drive around the town when its crowded, especially during the day with all the people leaving their cars parked at the side of the road, in small streets.

Thank you for our cozy stay in Casa Das Videiras. We were impressed by the spirit of the house, it is an ancient stony building with history - here you will find hundred-years furniture, a huge library, chapel, paintings and many different historical things. Despite the fact the house is ancient, it is very clean and comfortable, bathrooms are modern. Natalia is an amazing housekeeper - she met us, showed the house and helped us with laundry. She was kind and helped us with all the questions we had. Mediterranean breakfast was good as well. Should we stay in Seixal next time, we will definitely choose Casa Das Videiras.

wonderful staff they were so accommodating and lovely.. she washed our clothes and hung them to dry.. she also folded and put on our bed at no extra charge. we did tip her. breakfast was good. very social atmosphere with other tenants. which we liked. lovely place but quite dull at night.. you must provide yourself with something to do as seixel has nothing after dark.
I really with there was air conditioning.. I was really hot. they did have a fan but I sweated through my clothes each night.

The property is full of character, the exterior is very well adorned with painted tiles. The interior contains eclectic furniture and was interesting to walk around. The room itself was clean and comfortable, containing everything we needed. Breakfast was nice and the housekeeper was lovely and accommodating. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short but the time we spend here was comfortable. Very short walk to beach and rock pools
The property itself is nice, Seixal does not have a great deal to see and very little to do on an evening. When we stayed nothing was open so we had to drive to Porto Moniz for an evening meal. Seixal itself can be seen in half a day however it’s a good jumping off point to see the north part of the island

Casa das Videiras was excellent! The room was really cosy and clean. The kitchen was really useful, we cooked dinner the two nights we stayed there and it is pretty close to the mini-market too. Our host Natália and the house owners were fantastic with us. Casa das Videiras is also really close to the Seixal beach which was the main reason for our stay.
The breakfast is excellent but unfortunately there is only one table outside, so if you happen to arrive breakfast at the same time as other guests you will have to end up having breakfast inside which is sad if you want to get some morning light.

The location was good. It was near the ocean and you can hear the waves during the night.
There were no opened restaurants with good ratings during the evening and the shop nearby has only packed pastry and bad selection. We missed an availability of parking and you have to park outside. Which was challenging for us because we have arrived in the evening and the parking lot which was the nearest was full so we had to take our luggage for long time.

Stayed there with my son (17y) when hiking PR13 in feb 2023. Very calm village, far away from everything :-). We did not rent a car, but arrived with taxi from Santana (50eur) and used combined bus and taxi to get around. Good breakfast served by the friendly woman who runs/cleans this beautiful place. Extra heating-element available on the room. We spend many hours playing chess at the local minimarket/cafe, with a nice view over the bay. Seixal is worth a stay AND remember to hike the Fanal PR13 !!! Amazing !!! We hope to come back, when next time on Madeira!
That we had to leave Seixal :-(
