Food was really good, beds ok, location was perfect for me, away from civilization. Really good place for that money. Totally recommended.

Only a minor things like: It is popular location for weddings so if you planing to sleep well, find some different place for saturday night or buy some ear plugs. Tv remote was worn and not all buttons working, but luckily i did not came there to watch tv. That's it all i could remembered.

Our experience was great, we enjoyed our stay here! The hotel has a great location, lost in the mountains and woods. The room we stayed was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean, with everything you need. We had a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and the meal was very delicious, the service was great. The breakfast was standard, but good ( though we had fresh fruits for breakfast, I would suggest to add fresh vegetables to the menu).

The hot water in the bathroom could be a bit hotter 🙂

they have a buffet style restaurant. it was very yammy to me. As a hiker, this kind of restaurant is super lovely. hikers wanna load full in their stomach after a long hiking, right? Also they have a laundry service, which was very nice and done very shortly(3hrs). Reception desk is also 24hrs, I got here very late night and they welcomed me. good place. steak on menu was very nice. try it.

Hotel is nothink special with quite old equipment. Brekfast was unfortunatelly bad, the worst from 3 hotel on Madeira, which I had.

The view was epic… the lad behind desk was delightful but everything else was sooooo bad!

Cleaners left room WIDE open & completely unattended while we had gone to a viewpoint & then breakfast!!!! 100% was not me… I have OCD when locking things up…Thankfully nothing taken! No duvet, just a bed sheet & foot throw so had to use the blankets in the wardrobe, admittedly we were not warm with all 3 over us… but not ideal. No coffee or tea in the room with kettle… just sugar & cups! Curly hair under toilet seat! Evening buffet looked a complete rip off for €20 each. All really random stuff… nothing safe for fussy eaters… at all! Breakfast was alright… but no coffee beans so only tea. No lift & a lot of stairs if you’ve paid for the best Mountain View…. Which btw made this stay worth it! It truly is an amazing view! Young lad who checked us in was charming. Would i recommend???? Maybe, purely for the view only tho… it really is that good! Burger place 13min drive away down the hill! Which was exceptional & for just €28 Inc alcohol

The location and the food is nice but expensive. The view is nice but we did not get a room with the valley view although the hotel was not fully booked at all.

I made a wrong booking 1 month before arriving. The wrong booking was made at 22:00 of the day for which the booking was and confirmed during the night of the supposed to be stay. I booked again for a month later and asked for a refund for the wrong booking. Never got an answer. When I was in the hotel (a month later) I asked it again, at the reception they promised be that I would get a refund and that I just had to send an e-mail with the details. I sent several e-mails but never got a refund. Also booking was not able to help me.
