It's a great place if you plan to chill on the property. It has nice pools, sauna, even mini-market. There are two cafes and a great Miradouro restaurant within a walking distance from the place so there's an alternative to eating in the restaurant on the property. Breakfasts were also quite good, variety of pastries, juices, eggs and bacon available. It's a nice location to explore the island from if you have a car and are comfortable with driving.

The drive to the hotel is nightmarish, all uphill for several kilometers from the highway, we've seen tow trucks on the road to the hotel every day. The wifi is good only at the reception building, in the room both wifi and local mobile network are barely enough to send text messages. There's quiet time on the property, but it's not enforced, so we've had to sleep with closed windows for one night when neighbours decided to party late in the room.

The sea views, the friendly and helpful staff. We liked the fact they included transportation to 4 very good restaurants. There was also shuttle to Funchal. Also we found their market had plenty of variety and the prices seemed reasonable. Overall our family loved our Madeira vacation.

We liked everything about Village Cabo Girao, it was so nice that I feel sorry we had to leave everyday to go sightseeing. I wish we could have had a few days more of holidays to just stay there to chill. We rented the 2 bedroom flat, very comfy, well equipped, spacious and clean. My daughters and I loved the game room, mini golf and the swimming pools as well as renting a different DVD everyday to enjoy movie night within the family. Many kids clubs and activities available (but we didn't enjoy any unfortunately as we were out most of the time). The view is amazing, skywalk is 5 min walk from reception and the location in general give you freedom to travel the whole island within 30 min to 1 h by car. Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the minimarket but for emergency shopping g there is one in the village and we didn't try the food as we cooked mostly at home but seemed nice that too.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Maybe the Steam room and Sauna could do with with more heath and more steam to be more effective, but I didn't personally care too much.

I liked that there was free laundry machines to use and the pool was clean and the apartment had almost everything (no blenders). Overall the staff was very accommodating and made everything even better

It was clean but dated, the jacuzzi never got warm and the sauna was also a little weak. We made reservations for breakfast and when we got there was not appealing at all we ended up canceling and eating our snacks in the room, thankfully there was a kitchen so we made breakfast every day after that. Also the spa was only open until 6pm and many days exploring the island i was not able to make it mlback in time to book a service so that was a little disappointing.

There was a stunning sea view, a spacious apartment.

We found a lot of pests in the apartment. When we arrived, there was a trail of ants marching across the entire living room wall. Later, there were many ants on the kitchen counter. Every day, we had to clean and make sure not to leave any food products on the counter. Additionally, I didn’t like that they charged 3 euros for a pool towel. The jacuzzi temperature was very low, and I felt cold. When I asked to increase the temperature, I was told it was the law in Portugal, but after checking later, I found out that this was not true.

ABsolutely amazing views from terrase. And all the activities included in the stay was amazing. The laundry room also was very needed with those dirty hikes. Place is in my top 3 best places we stayed.

Our room was a bit far from the main building with all activities. and it was steep hill up to come back so we were to lazy to go enjoy everything a few times because we were already tired from lots of walking while traveling. I think there were not much people at the time so maybe acomodating somewhere closer would be nice extra (when it is posible).

The room was very spacious and had 2 rooms. Since it was a little cold there were a lot of heaters in everyroom. there were a lot of parking spots. The receptionist was very nice and explained everything very detailed. The was spa and a restaurant and a little supermarket. There was also a leisure room with billiard and games. There were also games nights where you can put your names on. The laundry was next to our room which was awesome after a lot of hiking in mud.

Driving up the hill was a bit challenging because it was very close to the skywalk and there were a lot of parking cars which blocked the road and the traffic was insane and scary.

The view from the balcony was stunning! The apartment has a huge balcony with a table and four lunge chairs. The property, grounds and pool was very nice. The location was good but I highly recommend a car, there is not too much in the immediate area of the resort. Overall, the resort is a great base for exploring Madeira.

They charged for pool towels and we had to leave a 30 euro deposit for a coffee machine. I thought this was a little odd.

Great location with ocean views. Large clean apartment with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Free parking is available near the entrance. There is a lot of entertainment on site: cafes, tennis, mini golf, board games, heated pools. Friendly staff.

There are only two small pieces of soap for our whole family. It's terrible for a good-level hotel. Is it really impossible to give guests shower gel in sufficient quantity? A very strange economy. And more. The photo on the site is still different from reality. The view of the ocean from the balcony is slightly obscured by the building in front

There are a lot of activities you can take during the stay - tennis, golf and not only. The room was large and had a lot of things. There is a laundry room which was useful. The pool restaurant has pretty good meals. Mini market where you can buy needed things and food.

The picture of the room view to the ocean was different to what we have been provided, which was disappointing. On the website there is a picture of the same room for all of these one bedroom categories. We've tried to ask to change it to a closer match, however, there were no options to change. There was no body or hair shampoo.
