Amazing boutique hotel. Great location for hiking. You need a hire car but the hotel has gated parking. Anna who runs the hotel is amazing, she went over and above to make us feel welcome. Always smiling and ready to offer help and advice for walks and places to visit. We’ve told our friends and will definitely be coming back again.

Morning much on the negative side. You need a car to stay here but that’s great as means you don’t need to go on the organised hikes and can take yourself. It’s only 15 mins to the coast or mountains too. So nothing bad to report.

We loved everything about the Quinta and our room. The hosts are the kindest people who are always open to give recommendations for activities and dining and also always there to help whenever there is anything you need. You see how much love they put into this place. The breakfast was also very very good! We traveled with our 10 months old baby and stayed for almost 3 weeks, we felt welcome for the whole stay. Also it was no problem to borrow a crib and baby chair. The Quinta is located in Campanario which is about 15 mins from Funchal and everything we wanted to see and do on this beautiful island was accessible (by rental car - important!) within 1 hour 15 maximum. Best place, we will definitely come back!!

There was nothing we didn't love!

We had a wonderful stay in Quinta Pacos Do Lago and simply all aspects were excellent : very big and comfortable appartement, the swimming pool, the view from our terrace to the sea and the surroundings. Also very enjoyable was the variety of the breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, different kinds of eggs and the tables outside on the terrace where we could have our breakfast. And for sure not to forget our hosts Anna and Duarte who gave us daily tips for hikes, excursions, good restaurants in all villages etc. Definitely a B&B to be recommended for all that want to travel to and visit Madeira.

this stay in an extraordinary house was a very special experience for us, which made us feel like friends rather than guests right from the start, simply because of the special, personalised service. The self-image of hospitality of the owners is exactly what travellers like us are looking for, and now we know that we have found it with them, and that they and their house are among the very few that we will certainly visit again!

a bit more decoration in the rooms would be more cosy

We enjoyed a very spacious, immaculate apartment with a comfortable King sized bed, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette, overlooking the coast. Tasty breakfasts. Very helpful owners and friendly staff. Lovely garden including an avocado tree full of near ripe fruit! No disturbances at night.

Sadly, the swimming pool wasn’t heated and there was no restaurant on site for evening meals. My husband is vegan and there were no suitable restaurants within walking distance. We either ate in our apartment in the evenings or drove to a restaurant in Funchal. Not really suitable for guests without a hire car.

It is the perfect holiday accommodation. The exterior and interior are beautiful. The design is meticulous and well thought out. The views are breathtaking. There is a private car park, the hotel has a swimming pool. There is garden furniture to enjoy the view, and in the garden there are avocados, papayas, other fruits and flowers. There are the softest bedsheets my skin has ever touched and beds are very comfortable. There is a very good restaurant a minute away. The location is very convenient.

Great location with amazing view. Very spacious room with tea & coffee facilities and a fridge. The host family accommodated all guests like family members. Provided with advices what to visit in accordance with weather and wishes. There is also respect of privacy. Breakfast was always freshly cooked. Fresh fruits just picked from gardens. The place easy to find following google map. The host also helps advising how to get there. Good restaurant with local good food a few steps away. Nice swimming pool, not heated but nice to get fresh after adventured day. When I back to Madeira I will not look for other place. Thank you for making my holiday perfect.

The suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and Duarte and Ana were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The weather was unusually rainy while we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or the terrace as much as we would have liked, but the view was fantastic and the pool looked clean and well maintained.

When we first arrived, it wasn't very obvious from the street where the entrance was.

One of the most wonderful stays in our entire life. We loved the quitness, the breakfast (omg, the Pastel the Nata and the fruits!), the beds and pillows, very confortable. All very clean, spacious, boem and the nices suprise is Duarte giving you tips and tricks at the begging of the day. We haven’t got time to thank enough for the stay because we had to catch the flight but we really apreciate your effort you put in this place accomodation. For sure we’ll recommend the stay. Not really a minus, more of a recomandation, some mosquitos nest would be useful

Spacious rooms with lots of windows and balconies, there’s everything one might need. Big comfortable beds, good breakfast options, exceptionally friendly and welcoming people. The view from the house is stunning. Keep in mind having something against mosquitoes. Easily reachable only by car. We had really good time and definitely recommend to stay here.
