Beautiful location, nice spacious apartment and comfortable beds. We would absolutely love to come back. Thank you. Just to note: It's a very small and quiet town with limited availability in the area for eating and drinking out so staying here means you need to be self sufficient and I would certainly recommend hiring a car.

It would have been nice to have music playing in an evening when the cafe/restaurant is open. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. 🙂

I would like to thank you for an extraordinary stay and wonderful time at Casa da Capelinha. The owners and staff were very kind and showed us every day that we were "more than welcome". Whole resort area is carefully maintained and clean. At every step you can see that the owners care about the satisfaction of their guests and achive a high standard. I also recommend the restaurant, especially the beef steak "Capelinha". The dishes is homemade. I believe I will visit this place once again in the future. And I wish the resort many happy days and satisfied guests.

This is a hidden gem; a surprisingly enjoyable and simple aparthotel in an excellent location. It is situated literally next to the fantastic natural community pool and the Atlantic Ocean. Stunning views, The hosts couldn't be nicer or more friendly. Very comfortable room with full kitchen. The restaurant was quite good and handy as the village is quite small without many other eateries. They have a beautiful pool but it was closed for repairs when we were there in late October.

Furnishings were simple and could be upgraded. Everything else was nice and its so fun to meet the hosts and share our love of travel and joy of life.

The view was amazing, the apartment was great, the complex was quiet. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything needed to cook. The appartment was cleaned every day, garbage was changed.

Ants in the apartment, have ant traps as some food was no longer good. Coffee maker could be updated, the bed in the room is not comfortable and two single beds together for a couple was not good.

A modern, spacious, and well presented apartment in a beautiful location. The gardens and pool areas are beautifully kept too. The apartment was quiet, peaceful, and very comfortable. There is a shop just up the road (easy walking distance) that is open fairly late even on a Sunday which was helpful for getting in food just after I’d arrived. There are a few parking spaces outside, but I ended up parking on the road where there is plenty of space. The view from my apartment (top floor) looked straight out to the sea over the pool area with the dramatic cliffs across to the side. The balcony was big and had chairs and a table to sit out at.

I can’t fault it! An excellent place to stay!

We really enjoyed watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean every morning from our apartment! The place was great with everything we needed for a week long stay in Madeira. Ponta Delgado was a great base camp to make day trips around the island from as it’s centrally located and we never drove more than a few hours a day. The pool at Casa de Capelinha was great and an awesome place to relax after long hikes or excursions. The restaurant here is good and the owners are super friendly and welcoming, highly recommended!

The whole place has a nice feeling, it is clean and beautiful and you get the vacation vibe right away. The pool area is great, the restaurant is good, staff is awesome. The apartment feels like a home although a little cold. The sofa is comfy, you have everything you need, also a big closet. The view is good, super close to the ocean which isn't very good for swimming but good for energy. There are many hills to walk up, but close to the little store (we shopped at a big supermarket before we arrived), hair dresser, ATM, gas station and 850 meters to the west side where you see the sunset. Incredible sunrise at our pier too, go see it! Very cute village/town that really grew on us and Sao Vicente is great for dinner!

I thought the bed was very uncomfortable unfortunately... The bedroom smelled a little fusty and bad when we came, but we aired it out. Same for the pool table room, smelled a little moldy. Don't forget that the restaurant isn't open for breakfast or lunch until four in the afternoon, so get your snacks and coffee/tea beforehand. Worked very well for us.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The room fulfilled our needs. The facilities looked great for families that were self catering. A small problem was sorted very quickly .

The location was not ideal for our 1 night stay. That was not the fault of the property. We were well looked after with an evening meal at a reasonable price. There was a good little kitchen for preparation of our own food, but as we were passing through with a one night stay we were seeking breakfast ... but the restaurant did not supply breakfast. The local boulangerie did not appeal. We decided to leave, so we could find breakfast on our journey. This complexity has not affected our rating for property, but it may influence future visits.

The location was fantastic. The view of the pool and the ocean was incredible. It’s a nice place to stay if you are interested in going on hikes and to some of the nearby beaches. There is a restaurant in the complex if you want to have a snack or dinner.

Nothing. Perhaps some of the furniture could have been a bit more modern, but nothing else.

Great, cozy hotel with big comfortable rooms. Kichen is fully equiped. It has free parking, small restaurant that serves delicious food. Very nice pool for adults and the kids. The vibe and the atmosphere is so relaxing, cause there are not many rooms and not alot of guests. So the pool is never crowded. We will definately come back 🙂

The smell in the apartment. It must have had something to do with the pluming, because the windows were open all the time and the smell didn't disqpear
