The breakfast was delicious and we loved that it was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing, especially since we prefer to sleep in. The view was beautiful, and no sounds could be heard except for the crashing waves. The fireplace provided heat and really added to the cozy vibes. The evening wine and appetizer reception was a unique and wonderful touch. It was convenient to walk to local restaurants and downtown Half Moon Bay was only a 10 minute drive away. We enjoyed lounging in the robes and slippers that were provided in our rooms.

The room we booked initially shared a wall with the reception desk. The room was so close to the front desk, we could touch the door of the room while standing at the front desk. Though the room was beautiful, I knew the proximity to the lobby and front desk would not provide the privacy and tranquility that we paid so much for. We ended up paying for an upgraded room in the building across the street from the main building. The beds were sunken in and very uncomfortable. The USB charging ports in the table-side lamps were rusted and unusable.

The list of what we loved about this property at Cypress Inn on Miramar Beach was endless. Beautiful view, clean, friendly staff, and exceptional food. We were even surprised by A afternoon, cheese and wine tray. We don’t even drink wine, but the layout for this was extremely inviting. They even had cookies at night display in a beautiful glass container for the guest. This is one of the best breakfast in a variety of options that I’ve had at a hotel. Not to mention it was brought to our room on time! God is good.

Even though the view was beautiful and it was safe, we had to leave our window opened in order to access air condition. I wasn’t that comfortable leaving the window open, and I would’ve liked some access to air conditioning in my room. Thankfully, the air was clean and it felt nice when we opened up the door to the ocean. You have to keep the door open at night while you sleep. Thankfully, we were safe and we didn’t see or anybody passed by. God is good.

Loved that it was right on the water! There’s a lovely pedestrian walkway that stretches along the beaches in front of the property, in both directions making it super convenient. Fire places and either full or partial ocean views in every room. The service was great and free breakfasts were beyond expectations! Finally, the evening wine and cheese receptions were a nice treat.

I wish the rooms in the main building had mini fridges. I didn’t notice the omission when I booked. The bigger rooms on property appear to have them though.

I travel a lot for work and personal and confirm this is a very good boutique hotel. Literally steps away from a quiet beach, ocean views from your room with one outdoor communal area overlooking the water, walk to dinner, beach/bluff side walking path, breakfast of choice delivered to room, wine/cheese free for 2 hrs, comfy beds, free filtered water, fresh baked cookies, nice staff.

I was REALLY looking forward to the fireplace in my room but it didn’t work. The night shift person didn’t know how to make it work. Rather than call an after hours repair person I said I’d like a credit towards my night stay since this key amenity wasn’t actually provided. He said he’d escalate that request but I didn’t hear back. :(

The location right next to the Coast trail was wonderful. It was also quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the substantial breakfasts and the evening wine and cheese time followed by freshly made cookies. The ocean view was spectacular.

We were in room 6 on the second floor of the main building. The room has a gas fireplace with a constant flame that kept the room quite hot even with the slider open. As a result it remained too hot for comfortable air sleep even without the comforter. The room is quite small with a queen bed.

I loved everything about the Cyprus Inn! I booked originally for the location which is overlooking the beach but they blew me away once I checked in with their hospitality and attention to details! The host a happy hour from 5-7 with wine and snacks followed by freshly baked cookies around 7:30. In the morning, they deliver a nice little breakfast to your room. The room was immaculate, comfortable and even included a pair of stainless steel water bottle for us to keep so we could cut down on disposable plastics use. We will definitely stay here again. 10/10 recommend!

Incredible Views. Right on the ocean. Great balcony. Lovely breakfast/coffee delivered to room. Cozy fireplace. Happy hour with breads/cheeses/wine. Coffee and ice water in lobby. Keurig in room. Very short walk to excellent ocean front restaurant. Walk right out the door to take a beautiful beachfront walk or get down to the beach.

Room was little small, no elevator. But, the staff was very helpful and carried our luggage upstairs.

The location & the ocean view were great.

The bed sunk in towards the head of the bed. I'm sure it's from people sitting up to watch TV. Maybe they need to rotate it more often or replace it completely. Bed comfort is highly important & should be a top priority.

Everything! The room was exceptionally clean and warm feeling. Very modern and updated room. Towels were so soft and plush. The best part about our stay was Gayle and the other wonderful staff. Having breakfast brought to our room to enjoy was fabulous. The wine and cheese hour was not just that, it was a whole charcuterie and more. Chocolate chip cookies to top off the night, yum. Great views, easy parking, comfortable place for a girls weekend.

The breakfast was great and was personalized to order just for me. Made me feel extra special because it was my birthday!

Everything was great! I think that because the building is well maintained could use a little air freshener (oils of lavender) to give a more holistic aroma.
