Right in the middle of La Rochelle. Out the door and into a restaurant :) Has a pleasant courtyard. We found the parking near the famous towers to be ok for this hotel in terms of walking and case dragging distance. Hotel feels good but also cosy.

No elevator. This is clear in details so no problem. It's also because the building is historic and central. I will still say I "prefer" a lift when on top floor, but it is not really a complaint or something that can be changed. I would still stay again.

Staff and owner were very friendly, but were especially most helpful when I had a medical problem on the first day of my stay. They checked each day to make sure I was OK. Also, the location - two minutes walk from the port - was super. I would really recommend this hotel.

Location was close to vibrant cafe/restaurant area and close enough to walk everywhere. Car parked up duration of my stay. Staff very friendly and room was very clean. We stayed 2 nights but were asked if we wanted room to be cleaned after 1 night, which wasn't necessary but nice to be asked. Nice breakfast provided.

Room a little small and walls paper thin. Any movement or sound from adjacent rooms transmitted into room.

The hotel is very close to the old port so a great location in terms of walking distance to bars and restaurants. The bedroom was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. The shower was powerful.

We knew before we booked that there wasn't parking. We were lucky to find a space in a car park nearby (5 minute walk ) (parking free from 6pm to 6am) but I imagine in summer it would be more difficult.

Location was superb only a few minutes walk to the harbour centre, we didn’t have a car so no issues with parking. The hotel was quirky - lovely old building with modern touches with decor. Superb helpful staff and our room was fabulous with a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was excellent - buffet style with fresh bread and croissants, fruit, meat and cheese.

The room was not very big and the bathroom was small too but it has all what we needed (can allocate 3 person without problem). The location is perfect just step away from the port and the center of all the attractions. It’s inside the old town so you have to walk just 2 minutes to get in to the marvelous old town of La Rochelle. The staff is very kind and overall the place is very nice.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

The building lacks elevators. This was no issue for me (even being on a higher floor), and I am under the impression that the staff would be more than happy to assist with luggage for those guests who might have trouble navigating the stairs.

This hotel is in a great location and the room was better quality than I expected. It is value for money. The room is very well laid out and has been recently renovated so everything worked and it was a cheerful space to be in. I had a room on the 4th floor with air con which was fabulous because the the weather was very, very hot. There is also two good common spaces, one outside for your use. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Location, staff friendliness, cleanliness.

Water cups so thin and cheap they have difficulty standing on their own. Tea and coffee cups cheapo cardboard ones, soap in shower feels over diluted.
