My wife and I recently stayed at ‘The Residency Towers’ in Chennai for a month during our medical visit, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional service and hospitality we experienced. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Mr Anand and Mr Rajesh, the Duty Managers, were incredibly attentive and ensured all our needs were met promptly and professionally. They were always approachable and ensured we had a peaceful stay. In the restaurant, Mr Manimaran and Mr Nawazish (Restaurant Managers), along with Mr Karthik, the Waiters’ Supervisor, along with all the restaurant waiting staff provided impeccable service, always greeting us with smiles and making every meal special. Ms Farah, the chef, prepared delicious and nutritious meals, which were a great comfort during our stay. Mr Anthony was friendly and efficient in the reception lobby area, handling everything easily and smiling. Mr. Imran, the Bell Boy, was always quick to assist us with luggage and any additional requests. The housekeeping team, led by Mr Gokul and Mr Iran, ensured our room was spotless and comfortable every day. Their attention to detail and prompt service made our stay even more relaxing. We also had a seamless experience with transportation. Mr Ranjith, the hotel driver, was always punctual and made our rides to the hospital comfortable and safe. Moreover, Mr Alagasundaram, the Travel Manager, ensured smooth travel arrangements throughout our stay. From arrival, Mr Ranjith went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. His punctuality, professionalism, and friendly demeanour made every journey a pleasant one. Overall, ‘The Residency Towers’ exceeded our expectations. The entire team’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay memorable and stress-free. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai.

As we know every business or person needs to keep improving to level up their game in the real world. So in my POV, the hotel needs to increase its room capacity to avoid missing out on potential customers (and disappointment to loyal customers).

The staff were friendly and helpful. They had a good selection of breakfast, could include more South Indian varieties. Located near Pondy Bazaar shopping area.

I was not provided receipts for services (e.g. laundry/transportation/in room dining) charged to the room at the time the service was engaged. Rather these amounts were included in the final Invoice. Suggest that the Hotel provide a copy of the preliminary receipt to the Guest for checking/tracking and acknolwedgement.

I booked 2 nights There is AC issue in the room on 2 nd night They immediately gave a another room for sleep purpose only with out shifting the room Even the upgraded room with out any hesitation for sleep only which was that grade available on that night I didn’t expect such a quick action with in 5 minutes on my complaint Really appreciable

Real value for money and the food was excellent. The stewards at The Carnaby restaurant were extremely courteous helpful, 7 ⭐ for them. Location was prefect for some shopping. It was a perfect stay. Ipad controls of amenities and services was very useful and convenient. Love coming to Chennai for its vibrant culture, food, shopping and for its simple way of life. Long live India.

Only thing I disliked was the air freshener sprayed in the room. I felt nauseated. Best to ask guests before spraying.

Really enjoyed out stay in Nov, this is the 3rd time in 2023 we have stayed here. Staff are superb friendly and very helpful. My mum (83 yrs old) stayed with us on a couple of days and the staff took care of her safety so well. We will defo be going back here. Location is ideal for shopping in TNagar, so many good shops are in walkable location. The spa members are very good too - the deco in the Spa rooms could be modertised; in need of renovation. The gym is small but was good for us, equiments are pretty new and well maintained. We recommend renting the car (5 seat Innova) from the hotel; our driver Vetrivel was so helpful and drove us around throughout our stay in Chennai. Highly recommend Vetri's driving so we will be requesting him as our driver during our next stay (i.e in 2024).

We were overcharged by £50 (Rs 4800). We stayed for nearly a week and had a early morning flight - so settled the bill in a hurry and we didnt notice that there was some charges for SKY; we had 4 rooms and none of us watch TV. Also, we had so many extra charges (laundry, room service, spa etc) so couldn't see wood for trees in the bill. Lessons learnt is to settle the bill, the previous night so we don't incur any incorrect invoices. And to double / triple check the invoices while we are staying in the hotel!!

The location and the service. The facilities in the room were really top notch, including the tablet for control that actually worked quite well, and the well-appointed bathroom and toilet. We went for lunch at the rooftop restaurant SKY and had a mix of Asian and Indian items. The quality of the food and the taste were both exceptional, the ambience and the service were also excellent. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The staff at the reception were kind enough to hold a medication for us to be picked up by a friend two days AFTER our stay, very unusual and much appreciated.

We were in a room directly above a party hall and the music, in particular the drums, was getting to be annoying. However, the duty manager acted promptly and immediately offered us a quieter room. Much appreciated. The room shade and the screen controlled by the tablet were excellent, but a minor goof up on the installation has left a large gap at the bottom of the window and hence, the room cannot be made fully dark: so you cannot sleep in late since the morning sun brightens up the room!

The stay was very good and easy check in and check out was organised. The food was excellent and of good quality. The staff were extremely friendly and prompt to respond to our needs. Overall an excellent experience.

The room size was a little small and cramped. Cost can be a little more less expensive so it feels good on the pocket, especially for folks who book on a personal level.

Convenient

Restaurant staff at the entrance need to improve their service knowing it is a service industry .We went down for breakfast at 9am was told no seats available and directed us to 1st floor .We went up were told the same thing and directed to go down.The hotel should have better arrangements. Eg: apologized to guest and make an effort to check if there’s a seat at the other floor instead of sending up and down. Reception staff wasn’t friendly .They didn’t even greet probably busy and tired attending to many guest

Breakfast and generally the food is always a plus plus here. The service staff are always courteous and smiling. FAcilities are good quality and well maintained. Any service complaint is resolved quickly - I had an issue with the AC functioning and it got resolved soon after the complaint was raised. Well trained teams.
