Location. It was a stay-cation. Close to home. And I love South Haven.

The rooms were not that clean. The door was missing on the closet. The bathroom did not have towel racks to hang towels. The Heated pool was not heated. The site said heated, but the pool was very cold. And a family with boys, aged between 2&7, the middle child developed hypothermia. Microwave front and office chair legs were dirty. Couch had dirty hand prints on it which wiped off when I took a damp washcloth to it. Very large mirror was hung crooked. The entry door to room hung at an angle, that when you used the cross-over lock on it, it lifted the door.

We especially liked that the hotel has been recently updated. Given the area, the price for the room was very reasonable, the king bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The location is great, near the highway yet only a mile and half from the core of South Haven. It was nice that breakfast was served. We also liked the free lemon water. There is a waffle maker, too.

Breakfast was too sweet for our tastes although there were eggs, sausage and bagel/cream cheese available. I would recommend plain yogurt for those who don't like sweetened yogurt and plain oatmeal which can be lightly sweetened to taste. A selection of cheese would be nice, too.

Room was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. We had a 2 queen with a pullout couch. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Great location close to everything. Room was very cool which we love!! Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay. I think its just the standard. They had plenty of everything available and always clean we just would have loved more options. We will definitely stay here again

It was a convenient location and I liked that there is a couch to sit on. I liked that breakfast is included.

There was a large urine stain on the bedsheet. I went to the desk and the clerk handed me another sheet and I had to change the sheets myself. The fitness room was extremely hot. I don't think the air conditioner was working on the first floor lobby, fitness room or elevator.

The room was clean and the location was really good. Pool was also clean and was refreshing.

When you see the property from outside, the landscape is overrun with weeds and trees like it’s been years neglected. The other negative was housekeeping coming around at 8am knocking on doors trying to do that job. Most other guests I talked to said same thing.

Would normally skip this hotel based on its rating, but a highlighted review got my attention. The hotel has evidently been updated and the room and bath were very clean, fresh, and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide selection of choices and lots of seating. I took a chance and it paid off. Definitely as nice as the hotel we normally stay in at a much lower cost.

You may want to bring your own lotion, shampoo, conditioner, as (I think) only a soap/bodywash/shampoo is offered.

Facilities were very clean. Owner was not friendly. Housekeeping did not understand English. We stayed two nights. They did not clean our room or replace towels. I asked for three sets and were given two. Went back for third and was treated like I was stealing. But facility was kept very clean. Breakfast was good. We did pay for three guests.

Breakfast was great! The attendant was efficient in filling up what you are low on. When I asked if they can keep it open for another half an hour because I have family that checked in late and they’re trying to wake up, the attendant listened. I thank you for that!

My stay was short, but it had the amenities I needed. You have to invest in a few chairs for inside the tub for senior citizens to sit on. The tub was a little too slippery for them. May I suggest adding non slip decals. The carpeting, I did not care for because all night I coughed. Maybe offer some rooms without carpeting. I’m allergic to carpeting.

The property was very clean and cozy. The staff was amazing. Our refrigerator was not working when we arrived I notified the front desk and they immediately sent maintenance to replace it. Later that day our toilet handle broke maintenance was already gone but that didn’t stop them, the front desk clerk got the handle and installed it herself. We will definitely be back. Awesome job to all staff members

I loved that it was in a great location and that everything I needed was close by.

I felt the sausage could have been cooked a little longer and that they would use real eggs. I didn’t like that I had to keep going to the front desk about my key card every time I left my room because it wasn’t working.
