Staff was friendly! Plenty of towels. Manager was helpful when we voiced our concern about a box style van, with no windows on the sides, in the back parking lot with people just sitting in it. A bit unnerving for a couple of ladies on a sisters getaway. Place was very clean. Breakfast was good, biscuits were a bit overdone, and gravy could have been warmer. Good taste though.

While there didn't seem to be "noisy people" running up and down the hallway so to speak. When a door was shut in other rooms, it was quite loud and we heard it very clearly in our room. Also the footsteps in the room above ours, were loud. It seemed as if there was no insulation barriers between rooms at all. But we realize that is more about the construction of the building rather than how it was being run

The hotel looked like it was brand new; that’s how clean everything was. The bathroom was spotless and bright. No mold or mildew. The room was comfortable with a couple different seating options. It was very quiet. The parking lot is spacious. Good breakfast included in the price and last but now least, the staff was very friendly.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. The only thing that could be a negative is the distance from the beach and main drag of town. Definitely need a car but you can see that on a map before you book.

The entire hotel feels new, clean, friendly, spacious. Excellent free breakfast with daily variations in hot breakfast option. Staff friendly and happy to oblige.

Despite requesting housekeeping no-one cleaned our room and made our beds whilst we were out for the day. A simple miscommunication, but they had gone to the trouble of asking whether we wanted it and we had enthusiastically said yes.

Hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained. The pool and fitness room were adequate. Room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. Location was pretty good if you're not looking to stay downtown South Haven. It's right off the highway and easy to pop into downtown or head up to Holland and Grand Haven. Bonus: there's a delicious ice cream shop right across the street.

The pool is adequate, but we would have loved a hot tub.

The stay was pleasant - the breakfast had good choices, well stocked but fairly standard fare, with the ubiquitous but not-trendy-anymore 'pancake printer'. Location was pretty good if you wanted, as we did, to use it as a launching point to other south Michigan places/locales. In addition it was a straight shot to downtown shops/restaurants. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

The price. At $440/night (of course that's not what you see in the ads - once the total w/ taxes and fees is presented - sticker shock sets in). A standard hotel on the edge of the freeway with no restaurant/bar should not be charging that much. Admittedly booked at the end of the summer season, I still felt as though I was gouged.

Clean room, beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. Good location to South Haven shopping and beach. Fire pit.

Girls trip, I booked 2 rooms 2 months in advance and ask that the rooms be on the same floor as close as possible. They gave me 2 rooms on different floors. My room on the 4th floor was very warm and I was uncomfortable in the night. The pool was clean but cold and not fun.

The beds we’re comfortable. The breakfast was decent. Coffee was great. Located very close to downtown South Haven. The staff was extremely friendly, but not in a bad way.

Bright sunlight coming into breakfast room causing my husband and I not to sit across of each other and stare longingly into each other’s eyes. Lol. But seriously, maybe real sun blocking curtains and not just diffusing ones.

We stayed 2 nights. The maids came in and gave fresh towels and emptied garbage but did not make bed. We didn’t ask for clean sheets but making the bed would have been nice. We are slobs by any means and didn’t leave blankets thrown on the floor or anything. But it would have been nice to have a made up bed for the 2nd night. For the price it should have been

Excellent location, and super clean! 1st time visiting there and would definitely stay there again. Beautiful fire pit out back, although we didn’t get to use it because it was 90 degrees the whole time we were there. Also they had all Dove brand stuff that smelled awesome! (Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, lotion) so I didn’t have to pack and bring any of that!

The room and bath were immaculate and comfortable, with a desk+chair, chaise lounge, luggage bench, frig and coffee nook, multiple outlets, closet, and hooks. On our multiple visits, it has always been quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a pleasant breakfast area with hot+cold choices. It is convenient to the highway, and a very short drive to downtown South Haven and the beach.
