What a BEAUTIFUL bed and breakfast! I cannot say enough great things about this place!! Centrally located, amenities beyond expectations, food was amazing, the entire grounds were beautifully decorated and maintained... I could go on and on! Staff was friendly, accommodating, and available. Cannot wait to go back again!

What a find the Yelton Manor was. We were attending a family wedding in the area and wanted to stay on the lake, in South Haven. We paid a little more than we usually would prefer, just to be comfortable and really enjoy our time in Michigan. The Yelton exceeded my expectations in every way. The place is beautiful, old, and in great shape with such personality! It's from the 1800s and there are tons of little cozy nooks and crannies to sit in, read books in, and warm yourself in front of a fireplace...there are books, antiques, and artwork everywhere. I only wished we were able to stay a week to spend more time at the inn itself, relaxing and taking advantage of all they had to offer. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful - the coffee divine! So many little extras everywhere...chocolates, blueberry cake, brownies, cold water, ice, fruit...your wish is their command. Dan, the caretaker when we checked in, was a wealth of information. He recommended Taste as a local restaurant our first night and it was perfect. Our room was clean and comfy - we were in the Avery Suite. I emailed the inn as soon as I booked to give them information on my small service dog and they were so accepting and wonderful about having her, as pets are not allowed. Even though we have a family home nearby, we will come back and stay at this treasured inn in the future, for sure!

Breakfast was amazing. Great options and we were very happy with the quality. The location cannot be better. Enjoyed walking around town and the lakeside day and night. It's perfect for that.

Decor is dated, hasn't been updated in quite a while. Cozy rooms, but not very soundproof, so easy to hear others in other rooms. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind.

Excellent choices for breakfast and my husband especially liked the fruit and warm brownies! I appreciated cold water bottles and great location to both the beach and downtown for shopping! It was all lovely and will definitely stay here again

Location, quiet, superb brekkie, clean room .  Fresh bakery on offer every day throughout the day plus coffee, and tea. Really felt cared for. Gluten free was no problem

Needs more lighting in the Forget me not room. Remodel kitchen nook, so it’s not such a tight squeeze when there are many guests.

Very clean, homey, comfortable and quiet. We felt like we were staying with friends.

IT’s location to town and beach. Walkable to everything. Various sitting areas and such a wide variety of games and books for relaxing.

The breakfast was made to order and absolutely delicious. The staff went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and were very accommodating. The location was perfect for a fun weekend of beach, shopping and dining.

The Manor is located only blocks from North Beach. We were also able to walk to South Beach and about 15 minutes to dinner each night. The property is beautiful, very clean, and there breakfast was wonderful each morning. The were able to accommodate gluten and dairy free as well.

Everything was wonderful.

The staff was excellent, especially Bri who checked us in. The room and entire place was very clean. The location is very close to the heart of town.

The room was just a little chilly, even using the fireplace. But this wasn't a big deal. We went on a cold day.

We loved it. Very comfortable, fab location and delicious breakfast! We arrived later than expected and Victoria answered the phone and explained everything- it was easy and she was lovely.

Can’t fault it in any way.
