The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The facility was well kept and clean. The inn is a very pleasant and charming place with vintage look and feel. From the moment you check in to the moment you check out, there is a personal touch. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast. It was fresh and delicious. I would like to thank the whole staff for an excellent stay.

The only minor inconvenience was the inability to cover a window near the top of the room. Due to its location, it allows light to come through the whole day. It makes it hard to fall asleep until it is completely dark. However , i understand it is a minor inconvenience due to the structure of the house.

The Napa Inn is a little gem. It was charming, well maintained, very clean with beautiful landscaping and in a lovely location close to the Napa Wine Train and to downtown. The staff were all super nice and responsive. The breakfast of the day was Eggs Benedict and served with fresh fruit, greens, fried potatoes and lots of coffee. Wonderful! Their sitting room where breakfast was served was quiet and overlooked green landscaping outside. From a cost perspective, this Inn was much more reasonable than other hotels in Napa that I was considering.

Nothing to complain about. You do need to be aware that there are no elevators so one might need to walk up stairs if assigned to an upstairs room. The hostess Candy actually offered to bring my suitcase up the stairs for me, which was appreciated and has never been offered at any other Inn. Very sweet.

Our stay at The Napa Inn was wonderful! The whole residence is so charming and we loved all of the beautiful flowers and greenery that enclosed it. It was close to downtown Napa with lots of great places to eat. The bed and pillows were one of the most comfortable we've had on our trips, so that was a wonderful surprise. We were welcomed with a glass or processo and given a nice little tour when we arrived. All of the staff were so kind as well. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was lovely!

Breakfast was excellent and leisurely (not rushed, which worked for us, but if you have somewhere to go, figure at least 30-40 minutes unless you're having only granola and/or yogurt which is set out for self-serve) - 2 "every day options" and 1 daily "rotating option" which are made-to-order in addition to granola, yogurt, and bowl of assorted fruit each morning. Location is excellent - about 1/2 mile walk to western edge of Napa downtown area with numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and wine tastings. Very friendly and attentive staff during breakfast.

Napa Inn & Spa site stated they have wine tastings in the evenings. If they do, they didn't happen during our 4-night stay (we asked when we checked-in). Either way, they need to update their site to not include wine samplings on-site or to specify when/if they do.

Real Review: This is a quiet, clean B&B, on a very plesant tree lined aide street a couple of blocks from Downtown Napa. If your evening plans are to eat and drink in Downtown Napa, you can easily walk from this location. It is an old Victorian home, with a large sitting room/library that has big picture windows that overlook the garden. It is where you read , study, relax, and eat breakfast. On the morning that I was there, I was up by 6AM and had a blissful 90 minutes before the breakfast guests came down. Since it is an old renovated Victorian with many bathrooms added, some of the room layouts are a little choppy. The rooms are not spacious, although the beds, sheets, robes, and bathroom products are very high quality. I enjoy the peace and personal attention from the staff. I would recommend this over any of the many national chains that have properties in Napa.

Our room had an old-fashioned claw foot tub. It also serves as the shower. Hard to get in and out, and not a great shower experience.

The stafff was excellent. They called ahead of time to check on any needs we may have, whether we were celebrating and wanted wine in the room, etc. The wait staff ( one woman, unfortunaely) was also excellent. Breakfast very nice and plentiful.

The only thing I can criticize is that, like a lot of older BnB type hotels, the room is a little crowded when they try to cram a king bed, jaccuzzi and period furniture into the room space of those older houses. Feels a little cluttered.

The breakfast was very tasty, and the people who worked in the breakfast room were friendly. The inn is nicely located a few blocks from downtown Napa, but in a safe and more residential neighborhood that is very quiet at night. The gardens and landscaping are lovely. We had hoped to use the small bistro table and chairs on the balcony, but it was an unseasonably cool weekend. Note that the balcony area is shared with another room on the 3 rd floor (they have their own table and chairs sufficiently further down the balcony). The Madeline suite is on the 3 rd floor, but they are not very long lengths of stairs. As it is on the top floor, it is a quiet room.

The room, and the Inn overall, were very clean. However, there was a large rip in the screen of the main window, so you need to watch for bugs if you open it. The suite is large in overall footage, but has an awkward layout, due to the large tub in the middle. We used the shower instead, which is in a very small room with the toilet. This little room also has an opening at the top, for air flow I guess, so hopefully you are well acquainted with your traveling partner! We wished that breakfast started a little earlier than 8:30 am, as we had some morning winery visits that were a distance away. Overall, none of this would prevent us from retuning to this inn.

Quaint, Victorian style building. Made to order breakfast. Welcoming staff. We had one of the rooms without a spa, but it had a large tub and a separate shower. It was on the 3rd floor with a winding staircase. The beds were remarkably soft and comfortable. A fireplace provided a soft warmth (no flame). We utilized the late arrival (after 5 pm) which worked wonderfully. The property manager reaches out by phone, then followed up with an email. There was street parking available (which we used) and a narrow parking lot. This was out second stay with Napa Inn and Spa. Both times were for a Napa Valley wine run. We would have liked to stay longer but circumstances did not allow us to this trip.

Direct booking with the Inn would have been preferable. However, the booking company did a fine job. I would have liked to had a direct phone number to the Inn (pre-booking) to discuss options. Be sure to consider the size of vehicle you are traveling in. Street parking will accommodate large cars and pickups, but not sure about availability.

We loved our quiet and comfortable room! It was close enough to the downtown to walk to everything. Bed was so comfortable and we slept great!! The breakfasts were amazing!!!

The bathroom floor grout was chipped out in many places. It was a clean floor and didn’t bother me at all really, but if I had dropped an earring or something small it would have been a challenge to retrieve it.

We had a great long weekend in Napa. The location is great and the breakfast was perfect. The staff were very friendly. Parking was very convenient. The outdoor area is inviting but unfortunately we had bad weather.

Our room was not in the main house and the building does show some wear and tear. But if you want a comfortable spot in a great location this is a great choice.
