The location was perfect - just on the edge of the city and really easy to get to. Secluded setting yet so close to everything. The 'check in' process was excellent - the steps were clear and simple to understand. The extra facility of the garden room was excellent and a beautiful view to watch the sun set. It was so well equipped and had everything you'd need. The room was great - comfy bed and a large separate bathroom. Absolute value for money. We were told about the breakfast options and the recommendation for a local cafe were spot on - great choice, value for money and close by - Doherty's cafe in Bridgend was really good. We'll hopefully stay again in the future. I'd recommend it 100%.

I love the quiet location, the bed was really comfortable and there were toiletries in the room. The front entrance and your room are key coded so there is no need to be disturbing anyone, it also makes check-in/out very easy.. There is a small garden room with a small kitchen and table & chairs, plates, cutlery etc.

We were in a room near the front door so we could hear people coming and going but it was really only an issue in the morning time. Maybe a soft closing hinge on the door might solve the issue. It wouldn't stop me coming back. This was our second time staying here and that is my only complaint.

Spacious clean rooms, with parking for 6 cars. Room had functioning facilities, lovely stone garden on the side leading up to a sunroom / kitchen with a gorgeous field view (exactly as seen in the cover photo). You can make a breakfast there, but I think you can request cooked breakfast on the premise beforehand (20 pounds per person). Wonderful location in coutryside, short drive from both city and Donegal

Very impersonal I find, this may deserve a 10 if staff present and served breakfast option is available.

Lovely place, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, the owners were lovely and the kitchen facilities were good. It had a fridge and a halogen cooker, kettle (with tea and coffee facilities in the room as well), toaster, microwave. The view was amazing, we would sit in the kitchen to watch the sun set. There were parking spaces outside always available. The 4/5G in the area is a little slow but the WiFi internet was amazing, super speedy.

The owners were very friendly and helpful which I really appreciated. The very well-equipped cabin with kitchen and dining table (that booking.com uses as its first image of the property) also acted as a social area where I met and enjoyed chatting to other guests. I was a solo traveller so this made all the difference to me. The room (Room 3, of five rooms in an annex to the owners’ house) was immaculate with everything I expected (tea/coffee, TV, internet), on the small side but plenty enough for me. The en-suite bathroom was lovely, again immaculate and large too. The rate was room only, options for where to buy breakfast are given on a notice in the rooms. Or, guests can make breakfast in the kitchen cabin which the owners call the ‘garden cabin’ - because it has a comfy sofa and dining table too. Its sliding doors don’t open though, for understandable safety reasons. An enjoyable one-night stay, thank you!

I was lucky and had a view from my room. Other guests were not so lucky and their only countryside view would have been if they went into the kitchen cabin. Not sure that it should be called a B&B.

Location was out of town, coded access, compact, clean and comfortable. Has a common area, as in the photo, if you want to sit or eat your take-out.

Kept getting messages in regard to 3 breakfast options on check-in, but the only option available was going to the bakery. (Excellent pastries, cooked full breakfast cheap but ordinary), The message system needs to be updated to avoid expectations of breakfast availability. Again, minor, but towels had seen better days.

Lovely accommodations on a quiet street. The communal garden room provides stunning views of the country side. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a nights stay! The tablet check-in/checkout process was simple and convenient and even provided recommendations for nearby pubs/restaurants, things to do, etc. We tried one of the recommendations for supper, and another for breakfast. Both were close to the property and amazing food! The Cosh Bar and Doherty’s Home Bakery.

I had an exceptional stay at Elagh BnB. The room was impeccably clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. What stood out the most was the room's cutting-edge technology, which added a modern touch to the experience. Despite its high-tech features, the price was surprisingly affordable, making it an excellent value for money. Additionally, its proximity to Derry made it convenient for exploring the area.

I encountered a minor inconvenience with the tablet provided for check-in and check-out, as it was difficult to work with and appeared to have a dead battery.

Neat clean room and great view. I loved watching the sheep in the backyard. Good kitchenette and nice garden to sit in. Hosts live on site and are quickly accessible and ready to answer questions (which is a plus for any property. There no transport out to the property so you’ll need a car or taxi to do the 10 minute drive to central Derry. Rural setting without being far from central Derry.

All good!

B&B was very well situated. Perfect to stop and sleep during our Ireland trip. The kitchen available for the guest was A great thing. We were able to cook a little dinner for our family. The late check in option thank to the EXTRAORDINARY communication from the hosts was an add in value service. Bed was super comfortable Parking free 🆓 at the door WiFi 🛜 not bad 6 up to 10

Shared Kitchen for guest was a little bit small (Think that it a a complementary service) we were four and it was difficult to share the space with others.
