I lost my connection and needed to find a place to spend the night in Amsterdam. Wim's Place is very close to the airport (in Hoofddorp), and Wim is extremely helpful. It's really only a couple of rooms in his house, but it's clean and in a quite neighborhood. It saved my day as there were hardly any rooms left in Amsterdam, however the price of EUR 265 was relatively steep for what you get (no breakfast included). But again: I couldn't ask for more help when I was in trouble late at night....

There was a global conference in Amsterdam and hotels were coming in at £500 - £3,300. WIM’s place worked. It was about 7 mins from the airport. It was clean. It solved a problem as there were only 4 hotels within a 40 mile radius available. WIM was super polite and genuine. He couldn’t do enough. For me. The location didn’t work and I prefer hotels

Having to wait for someone to use the bathroom before I could. Knowing I was getting a flight.

I had to book in two crew members at 2330 to arrive immediately, after a delayed flight meant that they missed the last public transport to their destination. Wim's was the best value near the airport and he could not have been more helpful, both on the phone and when they arrived. Full marks to Booking.com - you can instantly find sensibly-priced accommodation day or night.

Location in calm neighbourhood. Owner went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I got free beer, chocolate, map of city and tips about further trip like where are the lockers, how to get to trains station, how much cost the train.

The owner was so kind. So welcoming 🙏. He have coffe and chocolate in the room .He didn't charge as anything. Clean and tudy room. Even the coffe cups was very antique. Make it in Greek

Mr Wim was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, there was a coffee machine, water and even welcome drinks provided for free. Mr Wim organised airport transfer very early in the morning with very reasonable price. Thank you!

To be honest for that price, there is no "what you didn't like?" Maybe the fact that the bathroom is shared but it really didn't bother me at all

I found the host very helpful. he will give you all the necessary information for your stay. Everything was well prepared. the neighborhood is residential so very quiet. You will find everything you need in your room: coffee, tea, a fridge with cold drinks. The towels and sheets provided were clean.I asked for an invoice by email because I had forgotten to ask him during my stay. he was very responsive and sent it to me in a few hours It is a perfect accommodation if you want to spend a night 20 minutes walk from the train station. by taking the train you will be in 4 minutes at the airport.

The host was very flexible and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I booked a room at around 10:15 PM due to a flight cancellation and was able to check in immediately. He also went out of his way to help me navigate the town and go back to the airport the following day

Wim was very available. I lost my flight at the airport so I had to look for somewhere to stay. I chose Wim's place because it was located very near to the airport. I had my flight very early the day after and Wim offered me, for 25€, to drive me back to the airport.
