Location was excellent, just 5 minutes walk to the tower. Breakfast included, was good, despite sitting only outside in winter, they had heaters. Quick check in. Dogs allowed.

Parking not included. Early checkout time of 10. Although we did check out at 1030 without any extra charge. Staff could be a bit friendlier. Breakfast area outside, so wear a coat in winter. Room was ok, could use an update. Walls are thin and can hear other people use toilet and shower. Bed not very comfortable and can feel the springs.

San Tommaso is a basic, bed & breakfast hotel a few minutes' walk from the Leaning Tower, Cathedral and Baptistry. For a short (4 nights) budget stay in Pisa it was ideal and we would happily stay there again. The staff are pleasant, the self service Italian breakfast is ample and the room was spotless. The air conditioning worked well and didn't keep us awake, the little fridge kept our drinking water and milk for tea cool and the double bed is at least king size. The nights were quiet and we were quite comfortable.

The mosquito that got in on our last night - but he didn't like being swatted either ...

The hotel offers complementary water for guests at reception which is very nice of them since it is steaming hot summer weather. However, to be more environmentally conscious nowadays, I brought my own bottle for the water instead of using the plastic cups provided on the side, the receptionist told me off and insisted me to use the plastic cups. I wish the hotel can be more conscious on the sustainability front.

Very good location. A few steps from the main attraction, The Tower of Pisa and Central Restaurants. Cleanliness is great. The breakfast was delicious, and coffee was included. I made the online check-in, so we didn't have to wait at reception. We received the keys immediately.

We had a room in the attic, and the window on the roof could be opened just a little. Another window near the bathroom was tremendously small. These created the idea of a room without windows and not airy enough and without any view. It can be normal for old secular buildings but not suitable for claustrophobic people.

- historical building in absolute city centre. Like 2 min walk from the tower. - I had single room and room was bigger then I expected. With historical vibe inside. - amazing stuff. Very friendly, very helpful. - extremely clean room. You can make surgery inside. White , super new bedsheets and new soft pillows. I literally was ready to cry because I must leave this extremely comfortable bed. -around many good small restaurants with really good food. -I did not take a breakfast but I saw, it is good. Home made pies, proschutto, cheeses, eggs. Small but nice. -they giving protection from the mosquitoes

The property was timeless, surrounded by similar such properties, lovely Italianate architecture in a quiet upmarket area. The location was a gentle 5 minute stroll to the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistery, and museums. The cost was really inexpensive for the location. There was a good choice of continental breakfast. There were restaurants, shops, and an ATM machine nearby.

There were no dislikes whatsoever of the property. However, we did visit in January. There were not many tourists, which greatly added to our experience. We may have had a different experience with the summer crowds.

Staff so welcoming on arrival. Really easy to find and literally just around the corner from the tower so excellent location. Bed was comfy and the room was very clean with a mini fridge and tea making facilities. Vending machine downstairs and can add on breakfast for €7 or just buy a coffee etc. The shower was excellent and fresh towels each day. Body/hair wash and a hair dryer in the room. Shutters very effective keeping the light out. Everything you need for a city stay. Amazing value for money and perfect for what we needed. Young couple visiting the city for 3 nights of exploring. they even put rose petals and balloons on our bed and provided a double instead of a twin on request. Very responsive to messages. Brilliant customer service.

Literally the only things we can think of that was missing was sachets of coffee to make in the room and it can be a little noisy between rooms at night.

Travelled early March'25. Very nice quaint room. Very good location, just round the corner from the Leaning Tower. Friendly staff. My room was small with a single bed, but self sufficient with an updated en-suite and a TV and surprise - a kettle for tea and coffee. A nice small breakfast area which has a good range of breakfast, cold cuts, coffee, esp cakes, etc - sweet breakfast. And value for money rates. Would stay again.

Got a room just next to the main door, so each time people entered or exited, you could hear the outside door and people talking.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The location couldn't be more perfect - right in the center of Pisa, making it easy to walk to all the main attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. My room was basic but had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the essentials. While not luxurious, it was perfect for my needs and offered excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location, friendly service, and a comfortable stay in Pisa. It's the perfect base for exploring this beautiful city!

Thanks to them my experience in Pisa is unforgettable. They provided helpful tips where to go and what to do in Pisa. The room was perfect. Very comfortable and clean. The staff clean the room very often. Nice breakfast station. Very close to the leaning tower; few steps away. A lot of restaurants close by and gelateria. The service was above and beyond. I’m very grateful thanks for making my stay at Pisa a memorable experience :)) <3
