I was very happy with my choice of staying at Hotel Francesco in Pisa. The hotel’s location was perfect—just a 3-4 minute walk from the iconic Dome and Leaning Tower, while also being ideally situated for shopping and dining. We truly enjoyed having everything within such easy reach. The staff was exceptionally helpful, offering great suggestions for places to visit and dine. They went above and beyond by assisting us with booking a taxi for my early morning flight, which made my departure stress-free. The room was impeccably clean and cozy, providing a comfortable stay. One thoughtful gesture that stood out was the breakfast service. Although I hadn’t booked breakfast in advance, the hotel staff generously offered a modest yet satisfying meal, including tea and coffee. This level of hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Hotel Francesco to anyone visiting Pisa!

Location very close to the pisa tower. The staffs are friendly. The isolation of noise for our room is bad, although now it is not the busy season, so the restaurants downstairs are not loud. But we can hear so oft sounds of motocycle during the midnight and in the morning from 6oclcok every 5 to 30minutes motocycle driving on the street and another noise from the streets cleaning car. We have booked two nights there and could not sleep well. for people who are sensible of noise, definitely need earplugs during sleep. Another thing we have figured out accidentally is the WiFi in the hotel blocked some certain videos on YouTube. You have asked the staff about the reason. But she has no ideas about this and said never knew this situation before.

Fresh pastries, coffee, and local treats made for a pleasant start to the day. It’s a nice touch that adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, as on arrival we requested a couple of things we would have liked within the room, which were immediately attended to by the most helpful staff. The location proved to be excellent, really close to Pisa’s main attractions, restaurants and also with a very handy local supermarket nearby. The buffet breakfast was most acceptable without being excessive and staff were on hand to assist when required. Our room was comfortable, if a little compact, but this had to be expected given the style of the building itself. If you were travelling with a fair amount, or with large, luggage, it could prove a bit difficult for the room to accommodate it, although this has to be a minor inconvenience given the overall factors of location, convenience, cleanliness, value and service. The suggestions of additional places to visit provided by the reception were also extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay very much.

A couple of minor things - when we arrived, there was no tea and coffee making facility provided nor unfortunately any clothes hangers, but as stated above this was immediately resolved by the most helpful staff. The shower cubicle also didn’t have a rack to hold toiletries during use, which would have been a distinct advantage. Other than these minor inconveniences, nothing else to add.

The staff were all excellent, and always happy to help if we needed any extra things (like an extra pillow). Special mention goes to Ersa who looked after us at breakfast each morning and was always lovely and welcoming. The location is fantastic - very central, a few mins walk from the tower, and shops around for anything you might need. And it has a lift!

Room was a little basic, but that was OK. We initially only had a pillow each provided so had to ask for extra, and also had to ask for more toilet roll during our stay - however, the staff were always accommodating and happy to help.

Location is incredible. It's about a four minute walk to the "square of miracles". Also lots of really nice restaurants just outside the front door. The staff were super super helpful. In advance of my visit I messaged them a couple of times on the booking app. Their response was immediate, warm and helpful. My flight was quite late arriving and I was worried would I be able to check in so late. They immediately responded saying no problem and when I arrived they greeted me by name. My room was huge given the location of the hotel. The hotel itself was super clean.

The staff were absolutely brilliant and made our stay most comfortable. Could not do enough for us. Even booked us a taxi to the station. The hotel itself could not be in a better location. Having breakfast looking at the Tower was amazing. We had our own terrace outside our room shared only with one other room. The room was clean and serviced daily to perfection.

Not a lot really. If I had to pick something, I would say that the breakfast could be slightly improved, but it is generous and the coffee is pretty good!

The hotel was situated in the vicinity of the main attraction, the leaning tower and the cathedral. Furthermore near great restaurants, nice shopping area and very easy to reach. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was cleans and the bathroom, although small was shining. The restaurant of the same owners gave us a discount because we stayed at their hotel. The breakfast was simple but enough and tasteful with a good choice of bread and sweets.

You could see it was an old building that at some places needed refurbishment but not disturbing.

Location is PERFECT! Literally 3 minutes walk from Pisa tower and other main attractions,,, Meta at the reception was such a nice, friendly man, we appreciate him… Room and bed sheets were clean, generally the room was well maintained and not old! Also there are many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets right down the hotel so it is all accessible within reach,,, Hotel offers great value for it’s price…

Room & bathroom are small if you don’t mind, hallways and elevator are small as well,,, No one was available early for check out so we dropped our keys at the desk and left.
