I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Cecile. The location is excellent—on a quiet street just a few minutes’ walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the main sights. My room was clean, well-ventilated, and surprisingly quiet for such a central area. Comfortable bed, crisp linens, fresh towels—exactly what you want after a day of exploring. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and offered helpful tips on restaurants and things to do. Check-in was quick, and there’s a secure place to leave luggage. Overall, great value for money in the heart of the city. A reliable choice for a Pisa city break—simple, clean, close to everything that matters, with staff who truly care. Highly recommended!

Nice apartament, very clean and the most important very close to the centre of Pisa. We had a nice time there, I would highly recommend it if you want to go for a walk to the centre or if you don’t have a car.

I can’t say anything bad about the property as everything was good and the staff super nice. The only thing is the noise from the outside, you could hear everything. Except that, it is a good hotel for such a price.

We were satisfied with our stay at this hotel, the staff was helpful and nice. We had a room with a balcony and air conditioning, everything was furnished quite modernly, a small but clean bathroom. Compared to similar accommodations in the area, the price was appropriate, definitely worth the value. The Leaning Tower was really just a few steps away. :-)

I was missing at least a small refrigerator in the room.

Central location, had everything I needed. Clean and comfortable. Great price. great communication for self check-in.

These two points weren't exactly the fault of the hotel but felt they needed mentioned - Few mosquitos in room (although plug was provided and I should've used it initially). Noisy roadworks directly outside room so zero chance of an afternoon nap if needed. Luckily I was an early riser so wasn't woken up by noise starting.

I was a little apprehensive having read the comments but I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. It was authentic Italian, traditional, and homey. The staff were sooooo lovely and chatty, the air con was a blessing (having stayed at other places on our journey and it not working) so we loved this. We had a balcony and you can literally walk to the centre in less than 10 minutes. The courtyard restaurant next door is THE place to eat but there are sooooo many other options. It had everything we needed and more (hairdryer) so I cannot wait to return! Yes there are a few flights of stairs but genuinely despite other comments it is absolutely fine. I’m sure if you asked at reception they’d help with luggage (we only had backpacks). Also, the bed was one of the comfiest!!!! Thanks for a great stay!

There is no fault I can think of! If you prefer a face to face check in like we do just message them and they sort it so that people are there.

We went on a date that the air conditioner was not allowed to be used. I don´t remember to have read anything about that before and the room was hot and with a lot of mosquitos (this seems to be a problem of the whole city, and not only of the hotel). Definitely, that made a little bit uncomfortable our stay. But in general was a great choice for us. I would repeat it

Very close to Pisa tower, Duomo and Battistero, just 4 minutes which was very convenient. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and let us leave our luggage in the cupboard storage on the checkout day, (our flight was late in the evening so it was nice walking around without them).

The room was very noisy, it was on the first floor and we could hear a lot of noises from the road.

Room, clean and fresh, good shower, proximity to Tower of Pisa and restaurants and a 17 minute walk to main Station Pisa Centrale.

We hadn’t realised it was practically un manned, we had a code for the door to get in and a lady came and checked us in and another kind lady carried our heavy suitcase up a flight of stairs to our room. After that we didn’t see anyone. The other downside was they couldn’t book us a taxi to the airport for early the next morning so we ended up walking to the station at 6.30am and getting the shuttle to the airport. It was quite a nice walk. Could have been a problem if it had been pouring with rain. The lady gave us a taxi number we could have phoned just prior to leaving but that was a bit out of my comfort zone and all in Italian of course.

Hotel Cecile is a great value for money hotel in a good location close to the Tower. The bed was comfortable and we weren't disturbed by noise during the night. The bathroom was good and relatively spacious. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

I couldn't find a socket near the kettle so had to move it to plug it in by the bed. We couldn't find how to turn the air conditioning on but in any case it was cool enough at night not to require it.

The room was in a great location near the train station, leaning tower, river and restaurants. We were sent easy instructions for a self-check in and found the hotel quickly thanks for the detailed instructions. The room was clean and had good air conditioning.

The room was pretty basic but fine for our one night stay.
