Pisa is a fantasic place to visit. So many different cultural things and of course the food!! We stayed in a perfect location in Pisa, close to cultural places and close to really good restaurants. I especially want to thank Daniela for all help and all valuable tips. It ment a lot! Also thank you Virginia for really fine service. With other words, the staff made our vist really nice! The hotel was clean and the inchecking worked out very well, even that we arrived in the middle of night :) Best regards, Ulf

The location and friendliness of the staff. There was a slight problem in our room when the air con and plug sockets stopped working. This was a trip switch that a member of reception staff sorted immediately.

Due to the opaque glass door connecting our room to the bathroom , it made it impossible to leave the bathroom light on during the night ( we would normally do this , to make it easy to find the toilet in unfamiliar surroundings during the night)

The hotel's location to the Campanile and Piazza dei Miracoli is just ideal. Only a 5 min walk away, so when you are going back at night to the hotel you can enjoy it's splendour in the moonlight which is a very special experience. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable with a lovely outdoor area to enjoy. The staff are very helpful & pleasant and a breakfast for only 5Euro with great coffee & gorgeous croissants was great value. It's only a 20 minute walk from the train station through the town. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Daniella was lovely and very helpful indeed... Breakfast was ideal 5 Euros for some cold meats cheeses fruit, coffee , croissant etc only 10 minutes to the Tower and easy access to buses

Our room was fine but it was first floor and right onto the street and next to the stairs which made for things being a little bit noisy and difficult to get to sleep... The shower and the toilet were both together so that meant that everything got wet which was a bit odd

The hotel is very cozy and just a 7-minute walk from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The rooms are small but comfortable. We added breakfast to our stay, and it was quite good! There was a nice selection of meats, cheese, dairy products, and fruits. The coffee was amazing, and Daniela made it beautifully for us ❤️. A special thanks to her for her kindness and the helpful tips about where to go and what to see. Thank you so much!

Lack of sound proofing between rooms! Hey, people, if you come to your room at 0130 - have some common decency and think of others! Not the hotel’s fault, sometime people just behave appallingly. Added to baby on one side and barking dog on the other, not so good.

Very cute small hotel. The location was very good. Within walking distance to all places of interest, but not too close, so street parking was not a problem. Rooms were clean and cool. Small breakfast was provided. The staff was very friendly.

We didn't see any elevators and stairs were kind of long, which was not a problem for us (maybe for some it would be helpful to know and confirm about accessibility).

We spent 2 nights at the S.Athena hotel. I definitely recommend it to everyone. A small hotel with a garden within walking distance of the tower and about 1400 meters from the train station. The hotel has its own restaurant. We ate there and the food is good and cheap. There is a 10% discount for hotel guests. The service at the hotel is superb. Ladies very helpful and friendly. We asked for a kettle in the room and got it. The room is not large, but you don't go on vacation to stay in it. The air conditioning worked efficiently on hot days. The TV has Netflix. I definitely recommend the hotel. I am saving it on my list of favourites. It is worth adding that we paid 17 euros for a taxi from the hotel to the airport. Thank you for a wonderful stay/barbara

The whole town is overpriced, but this place definitely doesn't push it. The rooms are ok, with some decently new renovation - in any case, they are clean and the staff was kind at all times. The location is very convenient, 10 min walking from the main attractions and 20 min walking from the Central Train Station.

Couldn't open the window shutters...

The staff were fantastic especially Daniela who looked after us extremely well, the room was spotlessly clean and it was only a seven minute walk to the Tower. The breakfast was continental and plentiful would definitely return if visiting Pisa again.
