Location was excellent! Don't follow the google maps direction, you should cut through the mall for the shortest way to get to the hotel. Room was huge and clean and we had enough space to fully open 2 luggage. It is near transport nodes, shopping mall and also lots of food places within walking distance.

The air-conditioning could be a little erratic but not a huge deal for me. The hotel and rooms might look a bit dated but it is still very comfortable.

Excellent service and friendly staff. My room was on the 12th floor and had a nice view of the city. Cleaning was very good. I also really liked having a coffee capsule machine in the room. Excellent breakfast. I had breakfast at different times each day, but never had to wait for a table. Location is good, just a 2min walk from Nagasaki Station. There's a mall, supermarket and multiple restaurants just around the corner. 15min walk to the Gunkanjima tours, 13min walk to Dejima (Former Dutch Trading Post) and a 35-40min walk to the Atomic Bomb Museum. Water pressure could have been a little better when filling up the bathtub. I would stay here again if I come back to Nagasaki.

Great location, 10 minutes walk to the port and a few minutes walk to the train station. The room is big for what we paid for and well maintained. Although the room was facing the main road, we could not hear the traffic below, it was great for a good night's rest.

Would have been great if there was a shelter built to the next building that will allow travellers to walk to the train station without facing the elements.

I was greeted outside of the hotel by the manager which was a nice and unique gesture that I had only experienced years ago in Sapporo prior to this trip. Aside from being close to the station, the room was bigger than I expected. It had two beds, a desk (with wired Ethernet), a freestanding table, another little area where you could place belongings, a large TV, a couch, a small closet and a decently sized mini-fridge. There was also a very nice view from my room as well. I plan to stay here again if possible during my next trip to Japan.

If I had to nitpick, the faucet handles were almost round which made them a little hard to operate with wet hands, the shower head's wall attachment was not adjustable as was the case in newer hotels and the desk and table showed signs of wear. All of these things can easily be addressed with a minor renovation and they didn't really bother me. The hotel room was one of the the largest but cheapest out of 8 that I stayed in during my trip.

Excellent location, close to JR station. The hotel is of a certain age, but perfectly maintained. Staff was friendly. We travelled by car, so having a parking in the basement was great. Nice view on a micro garden from the breakfast room. Noiseless airco in our room. It is actually eco-friendly to stay in an hotel like this rather than in new hotels only.

Corridors could be a bit brighter at night

It was a traditional, very nice western style hotel. Staff were very professional and nice. The room was spacious and wide enough for two people. We asked for a corkscrew, and they brought it up right away to our room. The breakfast was tasty with a beautiful view of a Japanese garden. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing was it was somewhat difficult to find the hotel after getting off from JR Nagasaki station. But still, this place is highly recommended.

It doesn't deserve the 10-point valuation I gave it right now, but it will be worth it once the construction in front of the east side of the JR station finishes. The reason I gave them the perfect score is their service. Their consierge service is very helpful. The hotel room is big for the price. It is close to the JR station, tram station, and bus station. If the construction is done, the connection to those three stations will be very convenient.

There's nothing to dislike this place. Of course, it is better to have fancier facilities like a public bathing area or a gym, but this hotel is good as is.

Very good breakfast for US $17. Great location next to train station and tram. Lots of restaurants and food stores within walking distance surrounding the hotel. Great English speaking concierge who gave us excellent tips on visiting the different tourist locations. Can purchase tram tickets at the concierge. underground parking convenient but tight spaces so need a small car.

Great location, extremely helpful staff and it was wonderful at last to have a Nespresso style coffeemaker in the room, as we are finding it so hard to get a decent cup of coffee in Japan!

Other guests were quite noisy, especially when they gathered in the corridor outside our room.

We really liked the friendliness of the staff - they went above and beyond. Great service. Also, we really liked the convenient location. It will be even better this fall once the new station facilities open. The hotel gives an upscale feel. We got a very nice view from the room as well. Amenities were good, good bath room. Ample space for three to stay.

The security was not there, so pretty much anyone can access my room without a special key card.
