If I can persuade ANYONE to stay at this hotel, I hope this will convince you. I cannot express how great our stay was the staff was 100/10 from the recommendations to the 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants it was just amazing. Compared to the other hotels nearby located in the shops this is far by one of the better location wise. The staff was extremely helpful to offering what we can do but not being pushy either. On our journey back they recommended a way to get back that brought our fee from over 170€ to 30€. They weren’t out to scam you or take advantage and we couldn’t appreciate it more. We will be coming back and shoutout to one of the men working in the bar/restaurant (Marco) so funny and attentive and made our last few hours waiting to go to the airport more enjoyable! Grazie mille Ai Mori!

Two things, there was an off smell in the room, I am sensitive to smells and most people probably wouldn’t notice but it was off kind of like the smell of mice but we’re on the water in an old city so it wasn’t enough for me to ask to change rooms but definitely was a downside. The other downside is just don’t do the “boat tour ride” set up from the hotel you’re better off doing the boat rides with men in the striped shirts you can find a bunch at a port nearby and it’s individual parties rather than groups. The boat wasn’t all the way opened and only had 2 spots to see outside and the group we were with was invasive so they were itched up underneath us so next time save the 80€ and put it towards a better tourist attraction!

We loved the location in the Cannaregio quarter of Venice away from the throngs of tourists. The hotel gave us excellent recommendations for walking to sights/restaurants with a map. The water taxi (FIRST stop from the Marco Polo airport to Madonna dell Orto) was within 5 minutes of easy walking (only one set of stairs over a bridge) from the airport. Our hotel room was spotless and the air conditioner kept it very cool during a heatwave. I would stay here again!

The hotel boasts an excellent location in Carrengio, offering guests the chance to experience a less touristy side of Venice while still being conveniently close to everything the city has to offer. It provides a peaceful retreat away from the bustling crowds, yet remains within easy reach of all the major attractions. With its cleanliness and attentive staff willing to accommodate any request with a smile, it's the perfect choice for those seeking a balance between tranquility and accessibility in Venice.

Accessing public transport may not be as convenient, requiring a bit of walking, especially challenging with luggage or a baby. However, this seems to be a common issue in Venice

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. It’s traditional Venetian decor without the kitsch that sometimes brings. The breakfast was nice and the bar is pleasant to spend time in. I never felt out of place or uneasy as a woman on my own. The outside space is also very lovely. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful, even with guests throwing random languages at them with no attempt to speak Italian! The area is very quiet despite being 20 mins from San Marco.

Nothing.

The moorish- themed decor was a joy. The staff members were charming and very helpful. The location is great for vaporetto and alilaguna services. Breakfast was great, the only things missing were a good muesli and a better quality wholemeal bread.

Even though we hung our towels neatly they were still changed daily - bad for the environment! The bed linen, also, was changed too often. The flimsy shower curtain keeps wrapping itself around you while you are showering!

Great, quiet location but close to good eateries and bars away from the main tourist routes. Rooms are very well equipped, in Moorish style, and everything is as new. Good lighting, power and charging points. Great bed. Front desk are accomplished and welcoming. I've stayed many times in Venice, but this is the one I keep returning to. A few comfortable chairs outside with bar service for relaxing alongside the really quiet canal. Silence at night.

One gripe. An incredibly irritating automatic tap in bathroom. Previous stays did not have this. Got wet hands every time I reached for my toiletries and could get no full flow when required.

Great location in a quiet area yet close to everything. Fabulous staff who were very welcoming and informative. We had the offer of an evening cruise around the canals which was fantastic and well worth doing. Lovely breakfast and the option of dining inside or out in a garden area. Tables and chairs outside right on the canal which was a perfect spot for drinks and snacks and watching the sun go down.

We loved everything about this hotel.

The location was great in a quieter area of Venice but the central area of Venice is easily accessible on foot. My room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was great with a large selection for the continental breakfast on offer including cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and delicious cakes. Hot food was also available. The coffee machine provided excellent coffee. Tea and fresh juices were also available. The staff were really helpful and friendly providing a quick checkin service together with advice on where to eat locally and navigating the beautiful city.

Nothing really

Great area, near station and a really interesting neighbourhood. Surprisingly off the beaten track notwithstanding its central location.

Cozy, friendly staff, warm rooms (we visited in the winter)
