Nice hotel at the heart of Golegã, a city full of history with horse breeding and events in central Portugal. The outdoor area is really nice, great for walks, chatting, working remotely. The swimming pool is relaxing although the music can be distracting and too loud at times since there's no way to control the volume without having to ask the staff.

- pigeon nests on the roff make a lot of noise day and night. - breakfast was quite good but not too many options if don't eat meat/cold cuts. I wish they had more local cheeses for instance. Coffee machine could be better.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality of the hotel. The service was wonderful overall, and the location was perfect for our needs. The area was clean, and we felt safe in the town. The pool and spa were very relaxing. We found there to be ample underground parking.

The breakfast service could have been better. The only encounter we had with staff at breakfast was for them to get the room number. The food provided was okay, but the hot foods were not always hot and there could be more variety.

The spa compliments the hotel and has a great range of treatments. Room was spacious and naturally bright. Breakfast served has a nice variety of options. What I loved was the fact that freshly squeezed orange and other fruit juices were available every morning.

My room was on the ground floor and it can be very noisy. You can hear people walking and talking upstairs which makes it difficult to fall asleep. Shower cabin can benefit from a deep cleaning to remove mould in the joints.

It was a stunningly beautiful and peaceful retreat on the Camino path. It was very comfortable and spacious and the pool/ water area was superb.

The front reception staff were not very friendly- hardly cracked a smile or a hello. The staff who were kind and happy were the beautiful wait staff who came out to serve us by the pool and housekeeping staff.

It was an excellent stay indeed. A very spacious room, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds and very pleasant bathroom. We enjoyed the free SPA very much, and used it both evening and the morning after. An elegant and satisfying breakfast is also included. The best place to stay in the the area. The reception stall, especially Monique, were very attentive and helpful.

The main building and the rooms in the main building are special, good taste. Bed comfortable, not too narrow. The pool is pretty large for a hotel so good for swimming.

The building behind the main building and the rooms there are terrible, badicalöy a different hotel than the main building! Very old stylish and in fact old, estimazedly from the 1980‘ies given the old style. It smells like in a pool or sauna somewhat. On booking.com the room picture are from the MAIN building! So, very, very misleading!!! We did not accept the room in the old building and insisted on a room in tve main building, which we got after some nehotiation and serious insisting. Otherwise we would have insisted on a refund and cancellation.

Good location on the Portuguese Camino. Restaurant on site but we didn’t use it. Breakfast very good. Room very large and comfortable. It wasn’t ready when we arrived but we had a free drink in the bar whilst we waited for it to be prepared so that was fine.

Hotel was lovely. We almost got turned away when we turned up wet in our walking gear as the person on reception thought we must be in the wrong place. But that was quite funny.

The location is perfect for walking into the town. The facilities were great, our room was large as was the bathroom with a lovely terrace looking out over the garden. I have visited Golegã for the horse fair a few times and always wondered what this hotel was like, never got to stay as was always fully booked. It’s larger and far nicer than I could have imagined. The breakfast was also great!

I liked the hotel. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, at the reception, in the restaurant, in the spa… The room was comfortable and spacious. And in the mornings the birds were singing, it seemed like I was in the Garden of Eden… It was a wonderful experience. Thank you all. And I will definitely come back again.

Beautiful property, situated in the centre of the town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant in the facilities with well prepared dishes and great service. Excellent breakfast, good quality produce. Good SPA facilities and nice pool. Great rooms (stayed in the main house), super clean and confortable. Parking on site is very convenient.

Only great things to say about the staff, except for breakfast service. This must be improved, starting with a more constant presence in the breakfast room. it is also important to be more attentive to the needs of the guests and cleaning used tables.
