What made this the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in was Nuria at reception. She went above and beyond to help me several times: the original room had a broken shower--she put me in a triple; I forgot my adaptor, she provided me with one; I wanted information, she searched until she found it. I'm vegan and had trouble finding food for dinner (I am accustomed to eating dinner rather early compared to the rest of Europe), so she requested the hotel to create a plate. It was delicious. Her kindness really made it the best hotel. The view from the hotel is incredible and the rooms, the beds, and the pillows are very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast buffet was great, but I do wish there were just a few more options available.

Amazing location, only a short walk from the station (we were on an interail trip) and easy to walk into the new town or Le Cité (the old town) Lovely spacious balcony with table and chairs and fantastic views of the Castle and the old city, especially when it was lit up in the evening. Easy to check in and the room was spotless While you are there make a point to visit A 4 Temps Brasserie, its own by 2 star Michelin chef Franck Putelat. Amazing food but not a Michelin prices

The room was a little on the small size Staff in the evening seemed a little disorganised and it was difficult to get a drink at the bar as no one seemed to be responsible for manning it

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite and went over and above. The location of the property was excellent with the most amazing views of Carcassonne . On arrival, we were upgraded to a luxury room. The room had a lovely balcony with amazing views of the Carcassonne old town . The food was amazing and so were the waiters or extremely friendly and bending over backwards to give us what we asked for . The breakfast also was very good. The whole stay was extremely pleasurable and relaxing, it’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in a hotel like this with everything and I mean everything was fantastic !!

The bed was particularly comfortable even though the room was quite small. Bathroom was clean, tidy and more than adequate. There was a safe, a large flat screen Tv that had limited english channels.

Although the room had a nice coffee maker there was no milk provided and we weren't sure if we could make tea with the coffee machine. The view (rm 229) was pretty dismal looking out onto a back yard. The room as also just behind the lift shaft which became quite noisy from about 6am onwards

Great room , very clean ,food good the outside terrace superb ,looking over the castle ,the staff were very. Nice ,the location was excellent near the castle. And the town with the market around the corner ,parking was easy in the long stay car park 2 minuits walk away bastille fireworks excellent ,a great hotel ,that I will use again ,

The property was immaculately clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed the restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet which excellent. I loved the scrambled eggs. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the castle. This is the best hotel we’ve stayed at in the three week trip.

It was all good. Booking.combat that all taxes were included - this was not true since we had to day and extra 7 Euros City tax per night.

Stunning location ideally positioned between the city centre and the old town. The inside of the hotel is lovely too, top notch breakfast with lovely views of course. Was worth paying for a castle view room for that view too! Our private terrace was perfect.

I'd question if all the furniture in the room was really needed, e.g. the table and chairs in the corner. They made that area of the room feel a little cramped. The check in could have been a bit friendlier, it felt a little too formal and unwelcoming.

I would like to thank and congratulate receptionists Katerine and Nuria for their amiability and professionalism. I suffered an incident in the city (I fell and broke my nose and one finger). When I managed to get back to the hotel, Katerine did all she could to keep me calm and to help me. She called the paramedics and followed on. When I returned from the hospital, it was already Nuria's shift. She was very kind in trying to comfort me. She also helped me find stores to fix my broken glasses and my broken cellphone. On the next day, Katerine helped me with the contact with the insurance company. I could not have been better served! Thank you very much!!!

The kindness and professionalism of all the staff. The good location, very close to the old city. The view from my bedroom (with the old bridge and the castle) was fabulous. Also, the cassoulet was delicious!

It seems that we arrived on a day that the hotel wasn't fully booked and we were upgraded to a deluxe room. The room was spacious and we had a fantastic view of the cité, absolutely stunning! The location is perfect and very convenient, the staff is friendly, everything seems clean. We only stayed for one night without breakfast, so we wouldn't be able to speak on that but we'd definitely recommend the hotel & come back.

The room was well-equipped; everything was clear and almost new. Breakfast is good, so you can choose warm food like scramble, sausages, vegetables, yogurts, pancakes, buns, and etc. I cannot remember everything, but it was more than enough for us. We had a room with a balcony and a view of the castle, which was a great birthday gift for me (although the staff didn't know about it). All the staff were very helpful, friendly, and attentive.
