Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. The buffet style breakfast was convenient and well stocked.

As I was told to avoid Ibis hotel chain in France, stay at ibis Styles Carcassonne La Cité exceeded my expectations. Very good location (about a dozen of minutes to reach the Castle on foot). Nice staff. Very convenient parking space for a car. Good enough breakfast. Big advantage was the swimming pool to refresh after long walking in the La Cité during hot summer days.

The room was a bit tinny for four. During peak breakfast time some food was gone quick and for the staff it took some time to resupply. The hotel restaurant could be better.

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Location is excellent, 10 minutes walk to la cite. Rooms have an excellent air con system.

Little guest info in rooms for older guests and those who do not use technology. A paper document in the room in English giving basic information such as breakfast and dinner times, check out, pool opening, towel rental, guest amenities in lobby importantly useful information about booking taxis and where to get buses and shuttles to airport.

I chose Ibis styles la Cité Hotel by mistake, I thought I booked the one near the Old Bridge, but this was the best mistake I've ever made. The environment is fantastic, it's very quiet, I had the best sleep I could have. Rooms not too large but ok, and very clean. Bathroom v.good, shower works fantastic. But the best thing here is the Garden and the pool with sunbeds and sun-umbrellas where you can chill in the heats of summer ,what we just experience. Breakfast was good, just what you need. And also hotel is v.close to the main attraction of Carcassonne, which is Old City with the castle, easy walkable. There is also bus stop for the airport around and local buses "2" stop which takes you either to the shopping area or to the Lake de la Cavayère. I would book again if I come again. I was solo traveler but for families with kids excellent choice.

Nothing really to mention, maybe the only thing was bedside table light, which was not working and I mentioned to reception if they can change the bulb, but that not happened during my three days. But I managed without.

The customer service was excellent from all the staff but special kudos to Gail and Sebastian. The food served at breakfast and dinner. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and decent shower. The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool but as it was quite chilly it wasn't in use (end Sep)...unusually chilly for this time of year. But it was sunny! The proximity to the medieval city.

Nothing really. Maybe just abit of a trek to the main town center.

Very close to La Cité de Carcassonne, clean, comfortable bed, lots of light (we had the corner room normally reserved for wheelchair access. Not sure why we were given this room, tbh), generous breakfast, great shower. Staff were polite and helpful and not overly solicitous. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good.

I wish the room had a mini fridge and provided drinking glasses/cups,

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, a good selection of food. The pool looked good, although I didn't use it myself. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy and well beyond expectation. Although there is no kettle in the rooms, tea and coffee are available for free down near reception. There is also a water dispenser which was very useful. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the citadel.

This is not a reflection of the hotel at all but as a solo traveller, travelling just off season, I didn't feel very comfortable going out at night. There weren't many people about and the area appeared run down in places. That is in no way the fault of the hotel, simply something less adventurous travellers might want to consider. I gather it is much busier in the main season with more people about. I still had a lovely time.

The hotel was very well located near the medieval town. There is a parking availlable at the hotel. The room had a good space, the beds were conforfable and the bathroom was very large for Ibis' standards. The sfaff was very polite.

Overall the room was clean. However, we found two points that let us very uncomfortable: one towel was not clean and we had to request for another/ the shower also had a cleaning problem: there was a hair stucked in the part where the water comes out and we had to clean it in order to use it.

The staff are really friendly, the room had lovely comfy beds, the bedroom area was quiet at night, lovely swimming pool, great selection of food for breakfast. There isn't any kettle in the rooom but at reception there is a kettle, tea and coffee and also a cold water dispenser for filling your reusable bottle. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the medieval castle and 15 minutes walk from the town centre. Ideal location for a good price.

The glass panel on the side of the bath isn't long enough so the entire bathroom gets a shower when someone uses the shower. The cups at the tea/coffee station in reception are paper. Real cups that can be washed are more environmentally friendly

Very good hotel at walking distance to the medieval city. Easy to find, with free parking. Quiet at night. Good quality bedding and toiletries, lots of space for your own stuff both in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Heating can be turned off. Excellent breakfast with variety of quality food both salty and sweet. Very kind staff, we could check-in a little earlier
