Great price and location for what I was doing in the area and a really comfortable bed. I rang the owner before booking and she was very helpfull in discussing options for where my motorbike could be stored overnight. I ended up just keeping it in the front garden outside the room which felt secure as it was well lit and a very quite area.

Although my room had an ensuite, It has a very nice shared kitchen directly below my room. Unfortunately the American family downstairs decided to cook a full meal for an hour at 4.30 in the morning. I could hear every single thing they did.

I found the picture on the advertising misleading. I thought I had booked the one in the picture but was put in a cottage which was nice . I am disabled and was put upstairs. They were difficult for me. I was travelling with a friend. It was shared accommodation. So not a problem. I would have been surprised if I was sharing with someone I didn’t know. I didn’t mention it when booking as I thought it was ground floor. Maybe I didn’t read it properly. I will be more careful next time I book to read everything. 😁I would suggest different pictures for each accommodation. It was still a good visit anyway. Pleasant host, very helpful.

Nothing . Everything we needed.

I stayed in the upper studio which was tight in terms of ceilings etc, but it was really fine. Small but cosy, it suited me as I was alone, however it was fine for a couple. The shared kitchen downstairs worked out very well. It was basic but had all the essential components to cook my evening meal, including a large farmhouse table and a good tv in both the kitchen and the bedroom. It was quirky, but I really liked it. When I am trialing again in Gt Livermere, 25mins, I shall definitely stay there again. It was perfect for me.

Only parking on the main street, however it was very quiet and a 'nice' area so no concerns. Take a torch if you intend to go to the Bull for a drink, 600m, as it's a bit dark.

Very spacious and tidy room, plenty of room for a family of 4. I would definitely recommend and I will book again. I liked that each room had its own bathroom facility. The kitchen and dining area was lovely, well equipped. The patio area was lovely and overlooked a beautiful garden. The host was very friendly and offered great recommendations for local places to eat and a lovely walk.

The height of the ceiling over the walk-in shower is quite low, and although I am short, it was still noticeably low. The shower temperature varied quite rapidly, from warm to very cold and then too hot, but this would not stop us from recommending and staying again.

Peaceful in a lovely location near to places of interest. Property was spacious and nicely furnished, exceeded our expectations. Property has everything you need to self cater or pubs close by. Owner Sian was super helpful with great communication

A more comfortable sofa would have made it perfect and the TV signal was hit and miss (weather didn’t help). Only freeview TV, so limited what we could watch (especially over Xmas period). Dogs are allowed but you have to pay extra £10 per night

The kitchen is very good. Clean and tidy with a very good range of equipment. The bathroom is very good with a nice large shower. A nice sized table to eat on. Lovely garden to sit in and watch the wildlife. Very peaceful village location just off A11, so easy to get to. Plugs next to the beds to charge phones. Wifi signal is very good and free.

Be aware this is next door to a pub and they do have karaoke on which was quite loud on Saturday night, till the pub shut, but this may not happen all the time. The main bed could do with a mattress topper as quite hard.

The accommodation was lovely. We stayed in the studio and it had everything you need for a 2 night stay. If I was personally staying longer I would have liked a separate bedroom but what we wanted it was good. Host for lovely and very welcoming. The Bell pub eight next door was a nice local pub and the locals where so friendly for a few drinks

The location for us was lovely and quite but our purpose for being there was to attend Newmarket Races and it was a little to far away for that reason and cost us quite a lot of money in taxi's However it would be a ideal base for exploring the area

Stunning house in a lovely village with amazing food at the local pub a 5 minute walk. Was in the Studio apartment which was spacious with full kitchen and large shower

Appreciate its a country/barn type conversion but lots of cobwebs and the drains were smelly in the evening. Bed was a let down (small!) considering there is so much room in the apartment a king size would top it off. If these 2 issues are sorted it would be a 10 rating from me

Lovely one night stay at this very nice cottage 😊 very nice comfy bed

Just a few teething problems with this property. The bedroom, because of its sloping ceilings we had to duck whilst walking round the room most of the time. Also the shower was good even though quite small. Dissapointed that there wasn't any shower gel or shampoo provided, as with most properties there are. A good size kitchen which was fully equipped with everything we needed. Overall it was a nice stay.

Loved the location - close to Lakenheath, cozy village feeling with good pub in walking distance. Dog friendly, spotless and comfortable. Easy (street) parking.

It's an older property which means lower ceilings. Despite the owner's warnings I still bumped my head a few times. This also makes the shower a bit tricky if you're taller.
