Close to my function

The floor was very dirty and the bathroom smelled like pee.

The breakfast was just prewrapped food with coffee. I was thankful that the staff called me after I left my pillow.

It was a little pricey for one night

What a little gem. Picked this place just as a stopping point for the night headed towards Cape Hatteras. So pleasantly surprised. Although the hotel exterior looks a bit dated, the room was beautiful. Very clean, beds and pillows were so comfortable. Vinyl flooring, updated bathroom and LED ambiance lighting along the dresser etc.

The property was centrally located and convenient yo get to any location in the outer banks with easy but it was also out of the big touristy areas sonit was peaceful and quiet in the evenings. Great Location on Manteo Island.

The shower head in the bathroom could be more powerful as it was hard to rinse off sand and I wish the pool was open but I do understand the requirements for opening a new pool and the laws that go in to getting it inspected. I cant wait to stay here next year and enjoy the pool as it looks amazing!

The front desk was very friendly and pleasant. We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels, soaps, coffee and had the appliances were in good working order. Room was quiet and beds were clean and comfortable. The grounds were tidy and hotel in easy location of everything.- would book again.

Very nice stay all staff was SUPER friendly and rooms very clean there’s a new restaurant at the hotel we weren’t able to try it only due to us being on the move the past few days but the menu looks amazing! Pool was very clean. And very close to the aquarium. If coming through again we will definitely be staying here again.

The stay was great!! Though I was almost charged twice and and another charge my 2nd day. Ana got it taken care of. She was helpful through it all.

That after I put this review. I know have a negative in my bank account bc the indeed charged me twice. And have nothing to say about it.

Great value for the stay- rooms were clean and hotel staff was very attentive. Water pressure was really nice and the beds were very comfortable. All of the updates made it a very efficient space to stay in with a family.

Blackout curtains would have been nice for the outside lights but not a deal breaker at all.

The staff is friendly and compassionate. They helped us through all our difficulties with our dog having surgery at a vet near there. The beds were very comfortable. I liked the refrigerator and microwave. The room was clean, modern and roomy.

The bathtub was very slippery and had no hand bars. The pavement just outside the door needs a foot rug so dirt, etc. isn't tracked into the room. A broom in each room would be nice.

Very convenient.

Found out from the front desk clerk at check in on this trip that on our last visit in Aug when we specified “pet free room” when we were told we were being “upgraded” to a 1st floor room, but we were actually being “downgraded” to a “pet only” 1st floor room. We were shocked.
