I stayed in a suite closer to the beach so it was a few steps and you are in the sand. The kids loved the pool it wasn’t very busy either. They had a good breakfast and oranges as well as coffee and juice. Beds were pretty comfy and had a plug in air conditioner in each room along with the A/C. I didn’t have any noisy guests near me it was pretty relaxed. There were minor problems like sand on the floor upon arrival and the shower was slow draining most likely from sand. Nothing drastic though like bugs or holes in the wall. It was a great stay and I’d come back again.

Think it could you use some paint and sprucing up

Very nice two bedroom apartment like room which worked well for a family of four plus Grandma. Hotel is obviously an older hotel, but has been renovated very nicely. Everything was very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was good and more than just muffins... cheese egg omelets, sausage gravy biscuits, fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins... Staff were all very nice. Great location. Beachfront. I would absolutely stay here again.

The cooking items in the kitchen were too sparse... we needed more pots and pans, cutting knives, spatulas, etc. The serving dishware was fine, tho. And I only mention this because it was like an apartment... reserved because it had a kitchen. It was a very minor inconvenience and we were able to cook dinner and make do with what we had.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, linens were very nice. Laura at the front desk was very helpful as far as making sure we had a room that was easily accessible for us as my Wife had recently undergone foot surgery. Breakfast was tasty and hot and April did a fine job of making sure everything was well stocked, even toward the end of the breakfast serving hours (we were late risers).

My only regret is parking near the grassy picnic area as my newly washed truck was sprayed by an errant sprinkler head. Luckily the items I had in the truck bed survived the spray. I mentioned this to Laura and she responded that she would address the issue with their landscaping company.

Breakfast was good, you could eat there or take to room. They had pancakes, cereal, sausage, eggs, bagels, juice, coffee. We stayed in the room on the very end, 2 bedroom, 3 beds. The room inside was great, clean, and spacious. The balcony facing the water would have been too, but see below. The staff was nice, the man, Will, was very helpful in getting us a room that could accommodate my whole family since they were already out of roll away beds when we got there. The location was just steps to the beach, and central to everything. It was nice that it was not on a main road, but parallel to it, so made it easy to get to things. Overall, the space was quiet, and I liked the chairs on the front walk. We were next to stairs, but I never heard any noises from them.

The room inside was great, but while the space outside was the perfect view, it was overrun with little bugs and ants, so it was not very inviting. I don't think I can blame the hotel for that since is outside forces, but since that hasn't happened any other time I have stayed on the beach, there must be something they can do. Also, the only thing that made it worse was that the picturesque windows facing the beach in the living room and bedroom, were all fogged up, so if you looked through just the top left of the window you could see the water, but if sitting down, it was all just wet fog. So that was disappointing. *I should also add that it had rained some, so that might have made the window worse than usual.

Nice staff, our room had ocean view and easy access. Beds were comfortable, shower was strong enough. Response to our requests for missing items such as forks, dish towels, etc were promptly looked into, especially by the friendly morning staff

The floors were sandy when we first came in the the apartment—maybe hadn’t been vacuumed. There weren’t enough dish waging supplies, like sponges or a drain board. Some of the cooking supply lies were lacking; ie a frying pan, larger microwaveable bowls for veggies, rice, etc

When booking this room, there was nothing that led me to believe this wasn't ocean front...meaning you could see the ocean from the "sea view/ oceanfront" room we chose. We were disappointed to discover the room was across the parking lot and behind a dune. Yes, it FACED the ocean and you MIGHT be able to see the water from the second floor. But this was not what most would consider "oceanfront". The gentleman working the desk understood my disappointment and, without hesitation, looked for something that would get us closer to the water. Without a cost increase, he gave us a room in the side building, which afforded a much better view of the sea. Even better, this room had TWO rooms and a full kitchen. It is so hard to find customer service like this. It was like going back in time. It's so rare to be treated like your happiness matters. Thank you for your kindness, patience and customer service!

The description is a bit misleading, if you choose to stay in a room that offers a sea view/ocean front. The exterior of the building and the stairs need some serious attention. The interior of the room we stayed in was clean and updated though!

The location and access to the beach was excellent

The hotel is under renovation but everything was very neat and clean. We had a newly renovated room with an ocean view. The only concern I had was that we were on the 2nd level and there is no elevator in that building. Being in my 70’s carrying a suitcase up to the room was a bit difficult but I managed. Also the bathroom is very tiny. Not much room to move around. Thankfully the sink was on the other side of the door. There are also chairs outside the door to sit with a cold drink or morning coffee and watch the ocean. Laura checked us in and was very pleasant.

The location is perfect! Oceanside near everything. Probably the best place for the price. The room was decent, clean. Water was hot.

Our room had obviously been broken into in the past. The door was so crooked at the bottom you could see the outside. We didn't say anything because the door locked in 3 different ways. The continental breakfast was hit or miss every morning. The first morning the pancakes were hard as a rock, second morning there were no eggs.

I can definitely say they went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! I would definitely stay here again in the future. The room we had # 140 was in a perfect spot for us. It was on the ground floor, which made it so convenient. The rooms were spotless and very fresh & clean. Everything was situated to be very comfortable & cozy for 2. My husband and I have been married 33 years and never been to the beach. We enjoyed our stay so much. Location was perfect, price was great and staff is so friendly. We will be back. BTW- Free breakfast was so good.

I have no complaints whatsoever.
