It was close to the beach. The beach bistro was cute and had a good breakfast. The room was large but dated.

The couch was stained and needs to be replaced. The curtains were torn.

Location is fantastic. Loved being on the beach access floor. Perfect size for a family and beachy enough to be beachy but nice enough that it didn’t feel “rundown” by the beach weather.

Only complaint was about 12 hours prior to checkout our air conditioner stopped really working. It maintained around 71-73 through the night but started to climb prior to checkout but the maintenance guy was super helpful. I also wish you would have pool access for day of check out - made it interesting to try to enjoy our last day at the beach and then change after being on the beach all day.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful (such as contrast from Virginia Beach we visited just prior coming to this hotel) You look from your balcony and you feel you’re literally on the beach, all you see is sand and ocean, they preserved some natural dune separation line between hotel and beach, it’s so cozy and beautiful , you don’t feel like you’re at the big building. They had everything you need , two balconies and two bathrooms are amazing Supermarket, shops close by, but you still feel like in remote place, not Florida-Virginia like overwhelmed coasts , perfect parking just next to the building Go to Duck town for that famous boardwalk sunset!

Hot tub would be awesome next to pool, but that’s certainly structural issue

Excellent view of Oceana off of 4th floor balcony and in an excellent location. Close to shops and restaurants and the pier.

Unlike most people I didn’t prefer the tastings of most dishes served by their on site restaurant. Two of us only took a couple of bites to realize that the breakfast foods weren’t tasty and the waitress never bothered to ask why or could we get you something else or we’ll adjust your bill. They mainly stood staring and couldn’t wait to come and snatch up your dishes and the facility wasn’t even busy.

The property was fine once I got the room I booked. Upon my arrival at 10:30 at night after arguing and having conversation with booking.com about the price being wrong- my reservation wasn’t even in the system, so therefore I had pay out of pocket for a room. I was given whatever they had left which happen to be a construction site room- so it was dirty and dusty. Thank goodness I got to see the manager the next morning, she was pleasant and made everything right with the room. I’m still dealing with booking.com

The pool is in an area that regardless of where you stay you have to go outside to get to it.

Perfect location and the restaurant is wonderful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thomas at the front desk saved our vacation by helping us get another room in the separate building that did have AC (we were on the 5th floor oceanfront building and it was 90° in that room) and they even worked with us on a partial refund. It wasn’t the room we wanted and paid for but at that point AC was more important than a view. And we were extremely appreciative of that!

AC wasn’t working and building should be sprayed for bugs.

Everything was excellent. I am terrible with names. The lovely lady that checked as in was wonderful, so whomever worked on August 12th at 515pm thank you so much. All the staff were friendly. Thank you to the special young lady who went above and beyond to bring me clean bed linens when my friend left and my neice and husband were arriving..she stopped what she was doing and helped me. And thanks to the gentleman who checked us out on August 19th at 1010 am...he was courteous, informative and very helpful. He also went above and beyond to deliver a special thank you to the staff member who helped me. Thanks to all of u at the Sea Ranch Resort..you are all wonderful and made my family and my stay exceptional. The place was clean and comfortable and we loved the end room with extra balcony..room 327. Thanks again to everyone.

I really can't think of anything that needed improvement.

Ideal location. Walk right on to the beach. Rooms are the width of the building. I.E. balcony and ocean on one side, exit to a community balcony with view of the town on the other.Enter your room from the outside. No hotel hallways or lobby to contend with. Rooms are clean though a touch dated. I stay here a couple times a year. Great privacy and the rates are on par with other options in the area.

Only one elevator on the property which is a minor inconvenience. It would be nice if check in times were a little earlier than 5:00. A 5:00 check in time should warrant a lower rate adjustment for that day.

The guy at the check in desk was very friendly. The room was clean with a spectacular view of the ocean. The room was big with plenty of storage space. The bed was firm but comfortable. Two chairs to sit out on the balcony and look at the ocean. The door to balcony did not lock but we were on the fifth floor and felt safe. We were in the end room so it was quiet and didn’t hear anything all night but the sound of the waves in the ocean. We would stay here again. Very close to everything and we tired several restaurants but none were spectacular. Just so so. Also I didn’t take pictures of the room till we were leaving so don’t judge the hotel on the mess. Room was clean and neat when we arrived.

The elevator made a horrible noise. We felt it was unsafe so we took the stairs.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The rooms were clean and well kept. It's an older hotel, but they have done a great job keeping it up to date. The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. The front desk staff on check-in and check out were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The on-site restaurant was also wonderful. We are a large group, and they accommodated us well. The indoor pool was really nice. The water temperature was good and it was very clean. We will definitely book this hotel again in the future.

I really have nothing I did not like. We did have an issue in one of our rooms with the air conditioning. I called the front desk, and they sent a maintenance team in a timely manner. They were unable to fix the issue, so they gave us another room exactly the same as the one we were in initially. Their customer service was awesome.
