nothing . it’s great ! The only downside is the is the price of the rooms… I know it’s the most expensive weekend, but it’s way too expensive ..I still feel the value price point is way too high, but we’re on our way on vacation and this is one of our stops during the Fourth of July weekend. The price of the weekend is the price of the week down in Myrtle Beach ! ocean city same thing . don’t take personal lol we will be back ! lol Price points have to come down $

Our room with the ocean view was excellent.

I didn't like that we asked the front desk guy to send us up some more towels and wash clothes. He never did, we had to ask housekeeping for them ourselves. The trashcans on our floor in the hallway, weren't dumped daily. The hot tub water was disgusting. When we first checked in Saturday, and went to the pool. The type of low class/no class trailer trash that was in the pool and hot tub, it didn't surprise me the water had to be changed. That was some of the nastiest, murky water I've ever seen in a hot tub. It looked like some one had been washing farm animals in it.

I have stayed here many times and always had a pleasant experience. It would be nice if they invested in upgrading the rooms, especially the showers. I stayed at the John Yancey Hotel last year and they are well ahead of Ramada on their upgrades. It would be nice to see Ramada invest back into the property because the rooms are extremely dated.

The rooms are dated, especially the showers… John Yancey has done a fabulous job of investing back into the property and hopefully Ramada will follow suit.

The location was perfect and the view from our ocean front room was truly amazing. We also really appreciated the choice to check in earlier and check out later with a decent additional price.

I know the pool states no life guard on duty but I do recommend having someone from the staff checking in frequently, only because multiple young children were left without chaperones and were playing very rough and ran into my 5 year old. Also there were no towels available at the pool anytime we went in the 2 days we stayed. The restaurant also had very poor staff and food was awful.

Indoor pool, close location to beach, great restaurant, Beachcombers Tiki Hut. Chef Marina and waitress Raelyn were outstanding as well as our meals, we ate dinner there twice. Chef Marina even came out to our table to talk to us when we told our waitress how good the food was. Breakfast buffet was absolutely worth it. The staff was very polite and super engaging. Front desk staff and the cleaning staff were very accommodating. There was constantly someone mopping the floors and elevators, cleaning up from people being on the beach and in the pool.

We have stayed here many times and it is very obvious that they are implanting money into the hotel to modernize and upgrade. The new pool renovations are great and the newer deck and beach access are nice as well.

The only critique that I had was parking, or lack of. Our last night there a tour bus arrived which was allowed for some reason to park sideways in the parking lot and completely covered 8 parking spaces. There was a sky-jack lift on the other end that was left parked there and took up an additional 6 parking spaces. If there is an overflow parking lot, it obviously would have been more sensible to park the tour bus and lift over there to accommodate the guests. There were several guests complaining to the staff at the front desk about this issue… rightfully so in my opinion.

We stay at the Ramada every year when we vacation at the Outer Banks. The location can’t be beat, the covered pool is great in the occasion of rainy days, and the overall accessibility and cleanliness of the rooms and facility is great.

The only complaint I have about the rooms are the barn door style bathroom doors. They do not stay shut so we typically keep a towel on the floor and just wedge it between the door and the wall. It’s a minor inconvenience and an easy fix but a hook on the inside of the door would definitely fix this issue.

The location was perfect with easy access to the beach. We didn't try the breakfast. We have favorite restaurants in town that we went to. We loved that you had a whole floor dedicated to pet friendly!

We stayed in the pet friendly section, and wished that there was a better way to communicate a good time for housekeeping to come in, other than hunting them down. Having key access to the rear doors facing the dunes would be wonderful!

Loved the hot tub, indoor pool, the breakfast buffet was amazing. Cost around 10 dollars per person but it’s definitely worth it. Oceanfront balcony was really nice too. Saw some dolphins swimming by.

No smoking on the balcony was disappointing. Also the bed was much harder than I prefer. Other than that it was a great hotel for the price.

The location was perfect, in the middle of anything we'd like to do. The indoor pool was fantastic for this time of year. We enjoyed the beach, but the heated pool and hot tub were great! We ate breakfast there one day, and the rest out. Would have likely ate there more, but it was not included in the pricing. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so phenomenal! All the pet friendly rooms were on the first floor, which really is a great idea. We were able to enjoy the restaurant before they closed for the month of January.

I honestly have no complaints. I would recommend this hotel to others.
