The Paddlesteamer was a beautiful respite for my family and I. We needed to find some accommodation to break up a long and tiring trip and came across the Paddlesteamer. It was excellent. Nothing too flashy or luxurious but homey and comfortable. The gentleman who was working on the front desk was exceptionally kind. It was lovely just to cuddle up in a comfortable bed with a huge television and watch a movie and have a lovely stroll along the river. So, if like me you are a weary traveler looking for a warm and comfortable place to rest your head then the Paddlesteamer is for you.

It was a shame that the restaurant was closed, but not the fault of anyone or a terrible deal breaker.

Convenient location; clean spacious Unit with v good, recently updated facilities in kitchenette; good sized Bathroom and all spotless. Comfortable bed … but all pillows a bit too firm for us. But we managed… had left my soft feather pillow in car ! A spacious well laid out room … plenty of accessible places to put luggage … all three chairs a bit saggy but prob need restoring ?! Will def. stay here again for our half-way o/night stop when travelling to and from Melbourne to visit family . Thank you for everything! Susie from the country👍

Not always easy to get a park right o/s our room as spaces not numbered

Great location across from lovely, spacious parkland. Room and bed were more than comfortable, clean and well laid out. Particularly liked that there was enough space provided at hip level for our four bags/suitcases (nothing had to be left on the floor as can so often the case). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stopover. Will be back.

Only blemish (a minor one for us) was that the on-site bistro wasn't operating while we were there. Not a big deal as Albury had plenty of dining opportunities available close by.

Front desk staff member was very welcoming and pleasant. And the new manager was there and introduced himself. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean too. Very big TV. There was a pool which looked inviting but I did not hop in as I had a lot of reading to do. Had a very good night's sleep as room was quiet and air con worked well. Great location near the Murray so I could go for a walk. Also walked into town and past the Botanic Gardens.

Room was clean and comfortable, cooling in the room worked well. Pool was beautiful, clean and a great size. Had all the cutlery and crockery we needed and lots of milk in the fridge.

Being in a second level room was inconvenient. Dragging the luggage up and down the stairs was exhausting. There was no allocated parking so at times we weren't that close to the room. If you can get a ground level room, I'd recommend it. Everything else was great!

Modern, clean, well appointed unit with plenty of space. Directly opposite the large park/rec ground on the Murray River - so easy to go for a walk/run or swim. Rooms face the central court-yard/parking lot but there is a nice central garden with palms to take the heat out of it. That layout also meant that there was very little road noise. The manager recommended several of the nearby restaurants - and we followed his advice and had a great Italian meal within walking distance. We were only 'in transit' (ie. a one night stay) but would certainly stay again.

Hmmm..., on the top floor there is only a narrow walkway but there are chairs there outside each unit - so a bit hard to get past (especially if there are other guests sitting in them outside their units). The same really with the ground floor units as you have cars parked directly outside. I understand the desire to 'sit outside', but the space is really just too small to do so. Perhaps it is one of those 'in retrospect' design flaws...

Large room with comfortable bed and everything we needed (kettle, toaster etc.) Special touches compared with others in this “class” such as toiletries provided and nicer biscuits and tea on the tea tray. Very handy to highway and across from the river park. Also walking distance to the town centre for dinner. Staff were lovely.

Not in the motel’s control, but there was a lot of car noise at night (idiots racing and doing wheelies).

We have stayed at this location each time we visit Albury. It’s in walking distance of the walk along the Murray and a great cafe there called The River Deck Cafe. It has plenty of parking and the room and facilities are always clean and comfortable.

Cannot comment, I have stayed at this location now 3-4 times when heading to Albury either for a stay or stopover.

Good location, a really spacious room, and it had a slightly adventurous atmosphere! In summer, it would be a great spot. Downstairs is a distinct advantage as you park right outside the room. Great welcome from Reception, with some excellent advice for meals. A definite find and we’ll be back!

A window/air-vent in the bathroom would help.

The room was clean, bed was really comfortable, shower was good. the best was The Paddlesteamer is opposite Noriul Park, which is fantastic for walking along the Murray River along the boardwalk, which has cafes and food van close by. The Albury Council has done a fantastic job of the Murray River Boardwalk and amenities around the area.
