Extremely large, well-appointed rooms with warm decor and colour scheme throughout our family suite. Warm welcoming from the male manager on duty as we checked in. Also, a definite advantage was the blockout curtains throughout the suite.This enabled us to have a good quality rest without being woken by the blazing morning sun.

A slight inconvenience was not having an air conditioning head unit to service the main queen bed and lounge area in the front part of the suite. I had to leave the access door open from the second room in order for the cooler air to make its way into the queen bedding section. Also, heat was blowing out from the vent located above the kitchen sink whilst the bathroom exhaust fan was in operation.It would be up to a professional maintenance or tradesperson to deem if this is a normality whilst it is in operational mode.

The restaurant was one reason I chose the motor inn The food was delicious but could of had 2 sides instead of just hot chips, desserts were amazing but a bit expensive for how much you got, pool was great, so close to shops, parking was great, comfortable room with everything we needed, staff were great, quick check in quick check out, felt safe!

Air con was out dated and looked to be broken but still worked, hot water system was so loud… the room next to us had showers at 6am my bed was so close to the noisy system. Meals needed another side dish. Room was very dark.

Convenient to food and retail services. Separate room with 2 of the 4 bed allocation. Kitchenette good. Staff polite and provided instructions to access room due to reception closing early 530pm.

Paint flaking and mould on bathroom ceiling and cornices. Soundproofing of windows due to corner location on main road and power outlets next to beds would be beneficial for guests if installed in the future. Ensure you wash and put away kitchenware otherwise a charge of $35 will be applied as per sign on kitchen wall in room.

Had a good size, bright room, great tea/coffee facilities, very clean, nice toiletry products. Owner/manager super friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant onsite if you don't want to go out again (evening meals). Reverse aircon welcomed. Great location and easy to find.

Walls were thin; could hear the guy next door heavy breathing. Even though there was reverse cycle, I was cold in bed and there was no extra blanket.

This motor inn is in the heart of Raymond Terrace with shops restaurants and a beautiful walk to the river. It has all the regular ammenities in your room, fridge, microwave, tv, kettle, biscuits and wifi. A large shower with hot water and wonderful water pressure. There is a free laundry and your room is cleaned daily. Parking is a little tight in the courtyard, but there is more parking in the expansive parking lot next door. The owners are delightful and always available to assist if you need them. The office does shut down at 8 pm, so if you are checking in after hours, just make arrangements to get your key. Best motel in Raymond Terrace. Also, there is a restaurant nest door serving lunch and dinner.

Conveniently located walking distance from the CBD. Quiet room (could not hear neighbours) great water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed and quiet A/C(reverse cycle) warm and cosy.

Too much light shines through the curtains at night. The restaurant was not open needed to walk in to town for food options but there are some good restaurants in town.

Craig the owner was very friendly, good communication before arrival. Hotel is a little old although typical for a regional town but very well kept & looked freshly painted. Rooms very quiet, ok in size for two, good sized TV. All in all a worthy of one night stop.

Adjoining restaurant isn’t very good, food is quite average & servings were very small, assumed it is sub let & nothing to do with owner of motel.

I frequent Atwood B&W regularly. All works well starting with prompt pickup at airport by free shuttle bus. All staff exceptionally competent and friendly. Rooms above average and very clean and restaurant food as good as any I have had anywhere in Australia, Nth America, Europe, or SE Asia. I have never been disappointed so continue to return.

Rooms are about due for upgrade. Becoming dated.

I really liked the huge, clean and spacious room. Perfect for our family. Amenities are also complete and available. The checkin and checkout process was easy even during after office hours. The inn is close to the police station so whilst there was a bit of commotion during our stay, it was acted onto very quickly.

It is a little old so we were very careful especially with the switches. It looked like they might break if we push too hard.

There were no shops or service station open near by at night (9.30pm) upon our return to the room, I called the night manger and she refused to give us toilet paper when the cleaners forget to replenish it. Night manger told us, 3 adults ladies (1 a senior) not to use to toilet.
