friendly staff at most times and close to shops and hospitals

I could walk into reception at any time without my "key" I think it should be secure at all times not just 10 pm - 10 am or whatever . Ibis budget Dubbo, Gosford Enfield and Coffs Harbour feel safer The cleaners were very loud. Talking laughing and singing at 6 am . I had a 10 am appointment at John HUnter . Very rude There was no milk in the fridge and my request was greeted with arrogance . If you cant fake it til you make it in hospitality i suggest another profession NB I taught customer service at TAFE for 11 years

The room was clean and had all the basics that were needed. The bed was comfortable. You could open the windows for fresh air which is rare these days in a motel. The breakfast was very good and included a variety of fresh fruit .The pancake maker and yoghurts were a nice surprise and very popular. The location was good with the park across the road and a bus near by for those without private transportation. The staff were professional,friendly and helpful.

The yogurts were eaten all by the second day and not replaced for breakfast. Also, there was not enough cutlery to go around during breakfast. The t.v. and airconditioner in my room had no remote but functioned well when used.

I only Stayed there for 1 night I only used the facility for sleep as was out most of the day and night and the (budget hotel) met every need. This aint 5 star stay so buyer beware the location is great only 20 min drive to East Newcastle 1 easy main road. Check in and Check out was quick and easy.

No issues on my end.

The king bed was firm but comfortable. 1 pillow was like a sand bag, and the other was like a section of sooner in a pillow case. Asked for another pillow and received another sooner like pillow. But it did the job for 1 night. Staff were exceptional and accommodating. The shower covered the toilet floor in water. Great water pressure and a very enjoyable shower, although very cramped. The hand basin was in the living/sleeping area, which was convenient in the morning. Had to ask for a remote for the TV as there wasn't one in the room. Had a good and quiet little bar fridge in the room with a kettle, tea and coffee.

For a budget hotel this place is excellent value for money. The reception staff are just lovely & the location is perfect. The room had everything I needed & was clean and well maintained.

The other guests are not reading the blurb about leaving the shower door closed so it doesn't set off the smoke alarms. Management need to ensure that there are bright large signs on the bathroom doors & also on the shower wall. It's easy to miss the sign sometimes and not all ppl are readers. We were evacuated twice in 1 night & it did my head in lol

The rooms were compact and did everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable and we slept well. Room facing the carpark wasn't too noisy and kids slept well. We were there for a sports comp and location was really close to the venue and did everything we needed it to. Staff were lovely and really accommodating and helpful. Will be back!

Nothing really. Maybe some additional toiletries but this is a stretch. Loved the stay.

Young man working reception was a superstar and saved us from missing our flight due to a lost car key. Hey went above and beyond to help us! Bed was comfy as hell, heater worked great. Complementary coffee was good. All in all a great experience and will stay again

Some small toiletries would have been handy but not a big issue.

Overall it was exactly what I expected, I had no real issues involving the accommodations. I did have a problem with smokers deciding to stand close to my bedroom window, however my complaints were taken seriously and I did get an offer to change rooms.

I would like to make a suggestion. I stayed in room 102 which is close to the designated smoking area. The smoke would filter into the room so I had to use an air filter to help remove the smell. Would there be any anyway you could re-access the smoking area please? I did try and reason with some of the smoking guests, however if you've ever tried to reason with junkies its damn near impossible.

Close proximity to a major shopping center (wallsend plaza) which had a awesome place to eat at great value called the winners circle, plus major food stores in cole's and aldi with a few variety and specialty stores to choose from.

A little noisy near the main highway with traffic noise but it could be the fact we were in the unit on the ground floor near the corner. Plus a little noisy aswell from the service desk and the stairwell door being shut when anyone went through it but apart from that it was fine.

Clean, affordable, comfortable & in a location that worked for us close to family/friends we were visiting.

The room is compact with a closet style shower/toilet combo. Consider what the cost is compared to others,it was fine for us as we were only there latter part of the evening & was really just about somewhere to sleep.
