Location was GREAT. I liked the quiet & easygoing staff. I liked that the room had an extra bed & 2 rooms plus bathroom. The front of house lady Marina was down to earth & charming & I was impressed that she rolled her sleeves up & got in and did housekeeping as well as handle reception with aplomb, I even sent her flowers after to show that I appreciated what a hard worker she was, although they were booked out and couldn't fit me in for an extended stay.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer & I think considering the loud construction noise everyday at their property & that parking was hard to get due to all the work going on & work vehicles- there should have been a drop in price. I won't stay again at that price with all that noise.

The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the linens provided, small kitchenette, was appointed and clean. Carpark was easy, with a short drive to most things in Newcastle. Great variety of rooms for all styles of travellers. After an unscheduled health related trip to Newcastle, our hosts were so friendly. I was uncertain of having to stay a second night, but they were so lovely and said, "Just let us know, and we'll try and get you your same room back." Thankfully, we didn't need it, but that touch of personal service was great after a long and uncertain day. Would recommend anyone headed to Newcastle to book with these guys

Stayed for 2 nights in a budget bungalow. The room was clean. They gave us clean towels each day. It was quiet. You can't hear the road even though it wasn't that far. The shower was nice, the heater/air con kept the room cosy, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well. There was a small outside sitting area and 2 parking spots in front of the bungalow.

The sliding bathroom door got stuck a couple of times but gave it a wiggle and a push and it opened.

I liked the privacy. I liked my room as it had an extra single bed which meant I could spread out & relax. I liked the set up of the room & the courtyard outside to enjoy the fresh air. I liked the central location & could come & go without disturbing other guests.I felt safe & secluded.

The construction noise though only temporary. And the air con was a challenge to use the remote & get the right temperature although this may be the operators fault (mine! Lol)

Very nice cabin. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. Little kitchenette with kettle toaster, plates, cups, mugs, bowls, and cutlery. The is air-conditioning and a tv, extra blankets and pillows. The reception lady was very nice as well were the cleaners. Close to where we had to be. Not too far into Newcastle itself. Beaches are a short drive.

The shower curtain kept blowing out, so water was on the floor. And the skylight in the early morning was pretty bright.

Spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped room. Great having a microwave and a fridge with a proper freezer too. Close to John Hunter Hospital which was my reason for being there. Very friendly owner.

The only thing I would have liked was a bedside lamp for reading in bed rather than having to use the bright overhead light.

The room was big, there was a lot of space. Also the balcony was great. We also liked the big fridge. The hotel staff was nice and helpful.

The toilet paper was the worst we've ever used. The air conditioner could use a cleaning. We would have liked a clothes dryer in the room, as well as a sharp knife for cutting bread or vegetables.

The room was nice and tidy. Parking is very good. I appreciated the full set of crockery and utensils. Close to shops. Nice coffee shops a short walk away.

The bed was like a brick and could do with updating. When showering, the drain had a bit of a smell. A good enzyme cleaner would probably clear it up.

The kitchen, cutlery, drink ware, beds, bathroom were all immaculately clean. The room was bright and airy with a beautiful balcony. Although situated on a main road, there was no heavy traffic noise throughout the day or night. Cafes, Woolworths, petrol station were all in close walking distance. It was a lovely area to explore by foot. Very suburban with all essentials close by. Aircon worked well and was comfortable. The whole space was lovely and a joy to come back to after a day out. Hot water came quickly and remained hot.

Wished to have stayed longer.

We always stay here every 3 months. This time we were given one of the new rooms. We were very impressed and the room was to the high standards of the older rooms. The room and bathroom are large and very comfortable. Plenty of parking. One of the best in our opinion.

Nothing to complain about at all.
