Room was spacious and modern with a comfy bed and lots of storage space in the wardrobe. Good location in walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars. Staff were friendly too.

There was quite a bit of dust in the room, particularly on the bedside lamp. The toilet and shower set ups were a bit strange - two massive bathrooms with a toilet and double showers, would be better to split it off into separate toilet and shower cubicles so more people can use at once as both were occupied a few times.

The highlights of our stay were the extremely comfortable beds and the insanely sound proof door/walls. We had a rather early night and it was still quite noisy down stairs with the DJ, yet, it was completely silent in our room. We also had a function and it was catered extremely well. The food was perfect! Bar service was also very good.

I wish they supplied bath/shower mat for the floor. Their communication was quite poor. I called 3 times (different times of the day) before our stay to ask about an early check in and no answer. I had to email them which they replied to rather quickly (the next day).

We will stay again! It's in a great spot and the rooms have been renovated really well. Our room was small but it was just a place to sleep and hang out briefly before heading out so it was fine. The shared bathrooms were giant and well styled. The pub downstairs is also great, staff were all lovely. We came back late so I'm not sure of the noise level when the pub is open and music is playing.

The booking.com listing says there's a hairdryer, but we didn't have one. So bring your own if you need one!

The location was perfect as it was close to the event I was hosting at another location. The room was perfect for the night with everything working great (A/C, TV etc). The hotel staff are always kind, friendly and helpful, also very understanding in case you sleep in past check out time due to the big night beforehand. Always a pleasure to stay at The Greenroof, especcially in the balcony rooms when they are available.

Everything was perfect.

We stayed in the little cottage beside the pub, it was well appointed and suited our needs. The queen bed was super comfy, living room was also a nice size. I was surprised we also got a dedicated parking spot (be aware it only fits a small car, but we have never had trouble with street parking whenever we stayed before).

The air conditioning was only for the living room. It was exceptionally hot while we were there and because it is an old building, insulation is pretty terrible. We moved the single matresses into the living room and slept in there just to be cool enough. The single matresses are very firm so we went to Clark Rubber and bought a matress foam topper to make it soft enough to sleep. So we made it work anyway :)

The bed and room were very comfortable. The hotel and decorations were really awesome with tonnes of character. The shared bathrooms were huge and clean when we needed them. The staff were friendly and helpful in our limited interactions. We would definitely return.

The inside of the room fridge definitely needed a clean as there was stuff in the door compartment. The duvet was bare and would have benefited from just a basic cover. The lamp in the room did not work.

Our stay at Greenroof far exceeded our expectations. From the friendly staff upon our arrival, to the best Old Fashioned we have ever had, the courtesy bus that transported us to the PINK concert, and the accommodation itself, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back ourselves.

Although the bar below was a surprise, the accomodation aspect of the property was so lovely. We really enjoyed the clean and spacious bedroom!

There was nothing to dislike about the stay!

I would have like to have paid cash for my room but was told we don't except cash, bank card only as we use it as a form of identification even though I showed my driver's license for my Identification.

The location was amazing, the staff were very explanatory about the noise when DJ plays.

The toilet in the shared bathroom was dirty. There was no water jugs in fridge, so to get a drink you had to go to the bathroom. My son didn't drink for this reason. He didn't want to keep going to the bathroom.
