Great food, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable room rate, manageable walk from Newcastle Bus Interchange

Doors heavily closing every time other guests either left or entered their rooms ie during the night when accessing the toilet. What appeared to be coming from the next room, sounds of furniture being moved around and banging into walls at 3am in the morning. (Not the fault of the property, rather thoughtless guests)

The rooms and shared bathrooms had been refurbished since my last stay... very stylish, clean & comfortable, although basic... but at the price it's not going to be luxe. Missed the common kitchen area with fridge and tea/coffee facilities which was there before, but all in all, good clean, comfortable pub accommodation. Staff were accommodating and feiendly

Didn't bother me however the stairs may be an issue for people with mobility issues

Staff were amazing and so helpful. Short walk to light rail to access Newcastle foreshore and beaches. Immaculate room, bedding and towels provided. Bathrooms were always clean.

Sadly no fridge or microwave available to guests. There are stairs to upstairs so this could be an issue for those needing accessibility.

Large room above the pub with good food. Room 6 if you want the balcony. Shared amenities clean & tidy.

A kettle & tea/coffee facilities wouldn’t go astray.

Kettle in room but no cups or mugs. It was good I had a bottle of water in my car I could go down and get
