Room was perfect for our one night stay, mum travelling with my 3 boys. Exactly what was described and shown in the photos. We had family room. Parking was great plenty for the rooms. We got there at 6pm reception was closed rang and the guy was friendly and polite and guided me to getting my room key

Not the motels fault as such it is pet friendly, Guests in room next door their dogs were barking so excessively in evening (I'm taking non stop for over 40 minutes, then started up later on) and then started barking at 4.45am, only to hear the owner growling back at dogs and yelling, then to hear both owners having full blown conversation through walls they were not respectful at all, where not even trying to talk quietly given the time of night. So lesson learnt pet friendly accommodation isnt for us especially when I had 8 hour drive that day.

the room smelled very clean and fresh. The place is very well maintained. The receptionist was very friendly and just a very cheerful person. Really make someone's day.

I didn't like the fact that our rooms were too close to the smoking area. I could smell the smoke when other guests were there smoking, Furthermore at around 3:30am, other guest were not only smoking they were also making too much noise talking. Which was very inconsiderate but not a reflection on the accommodation place. As we have no control on how other's act.

Quiet, air-con overnight to keep temp 16 degrees was very quiet. Fridge freezer good size to fit my cold bag to refreeze. Biscuits better than average. Extra singular blanket for both beds. Very clean. Able to leave a night light on in bathroom, without noisy fan & light going. Manager was able to provide Cereal plate & spoon in the morning on request.

Would prefer fresh milk instead of multiple 15ml long life serves. Plates for Cereal & Toast with cutlery would have been optimal.

We were travelling with our dog which is why we booked the Inn as it had a dog friendly room. The manager was extremely helpful as we also had a large vehicle with a trailer that we needed to park. We stayed 2 nights and it perfectly suited our needs. The Tea and coffee in the room is always appreciated and there was a microwave which could be very useful. Bathrooms are updated and having shampoo and conditioner was helpful.

No complaints

This is a wonderful pet friendly motel in a perfect location. It has 3 pet room away from the other rooms which is lovely. The location to Newcastle and highway north is spot on. There is a takeaway straight across the road with great food. Room was comfortable. Bed nice, everything you need. Lovely and clean. Staff were lovely.

There one only 1 thing. There is a little lip/ tiny step up from bedroom to kitchen. I didn’t see it a kicked my foot hard. We have stayed here once before in the next room along, and as soon as I kicked my foot I remembered doing it in that room too. My husband put the bath mat over it and no more kicked feet 😂😂

Location and cleanness 😊

We stayed in room 27. All perfect about the room but very noisy neighbours. Someone over the made incoherent and loud noise all night. We couldn’t sleep. We had our pet dog with us who usually very quite and sleeps all night. He persevered the noises as something he needed to protect us from and barked as well. We didn’t want to disturb other guests so we leaved earlier.

I was in a spacious room at back which was very quiet. Receptionist (owner?) was very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of bathroom toiletries. Close to shops for takeaway food and groceries.

Parking. Small garden in front of reception has a low brick border that is barely visible and is easy to run into (it happened to me). Parking spaces at back are too close together especially when large vehicles are parking next to each other.

The room, including the kitchenette and the bathroom were very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

The people staying next door played very loud music early on Sunday morning which was very annoying. In addition, our room was not close to other family members. One of them was allocated a pet friendly room which I did not book and was told by the staff member in Reception that I got this arrangement because I had booked with Booking.com and not with the Motel direct!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and TV selection was okay.

The car park is horrible. Car spaces are way too tight. I couldn't park my vehicle in an allocated parking spot as I would become wedged and unable to open my door between 2 cars. A large work truck was also parked inside. In my opinion, the work truck should've been made to park out of the street.

Staff, rooms, overall

Brick-bounded flower beds are dangerous to cars reversing in to angle park. I reverse in to be able to unload luggage out the hatch at the back. We stayed here for one night twice in a week, so I knew the bricks were waiting there for me and managed not to hit them, but it involved a lot of toing-and-froing to be close but not too close to either the bricks or the adjacent cars
