Immaculately Clean. Lovely staff Great value for money and inclusive of breakfast! My room was brilliant. Even had bluetooth outlets to connect a phone/tab charge lead to if required. Many more creature comforts in my room than some of the larger much more expensive hotels. Dave and Alison were brilliant hosts. A reasonable size carpark and room to park on local roads too. A Marks and Spencer petrol station about 10 mins walk away towards Aberdeen and a lovely village in the opposite direction with a great pub and Co op supermarket across the road from the pub. Pub is open till midnight . Coop closes at 10pm weekdays. Indian and chinese takeaways locally too.

Nothing to dislike .

An easy 15 minutes from Aberdeen airport with the local pub a brilliant place for dinner. Our hosts were incredibly gracious in suggesting that we leave a day early with no cancellation charge to enable us to safely travel south before the red alert closed the roads the following day. Their recommendation of visiting nearby Stonehaven area was brilliant and we really wished we were able to stay at least as long as originally planned. Breakfast was delicious with Stornaway black pudding...great for an Aussie.

It was all brilliant!

It is very useful to have a bus stop opposite, as long as your guest, me, gets to the stop on time and waits till the bus arrives- even if a little late!! Your Hotel is just right for a short stay; placed in a convenient place for sightseeing east and west. I would bring my family. The breakfast was very good. I shall recommend you to 'The World'. Thank you for your quiet professionalism.

Your hotel was just right for what I needed for two nights. The room was clean and one had all that was needed in an hotel room I cannot say anything negative about the room nor the house.

Alison was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond. My flight was delayed and I didn’t get in until the middle of the night, and she still got up to help me get inside and show me to my room. Every morning we had a lovely chat and she made sure I had coffee and toast while she watched out the window for my taxi to arrive. If you are lucky, you will get to meet their adorably friendly puppy named Stanley! Would absolutely love to stay here again.

A bit far from anything to do, and taxis are very expensive. This is ok if you have a car or are happy to just rest and be peacefully out of the busier areas, like I was.

The cooked Breakfast was nice and filling and the Hosts were good to offer a Vegan choice aswell for one of my party members. The rooms were clean, comfortable and I liked the additional extras of Tea/Coffee/Biscuits and Water in room along with Bath Towels, Body Wash/Shampoo and Hair dryer supplied too. Local Restaurant/Pub nearby (The Ploughman) within walking distance with excellent Food and Large portions, you need to book as very busy…!

Breakfast was excellent. A lovely fresh fruit salad and the cooked breakfast was very good quality. The owners were very pleasant and booked a table at a local pub for dinner for us. The room was spotless with everything needed - tissues, cotton wool balls etc.

I wasn't able to connect to the WiFi which was disappointing. We couldn't work out why. Our shower was an overhead shower. I would rather have an adjustable wall shower head, but that is just a personal preference.

This property is located in a quaint little village. Not much happening in the area, but that was great for us .It was very relaxing. The hosts were wonderful. So kind, friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was amazing! Fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee and whatever you chose for your main item. My husband had wonderful pancakes and I had an omelette. Everything was very tasty! We would highly recommend this property.

Can’t think of anything!

On arrival my wife and I were soaking wet after a day of cycling in heavy rain. Dave was very helpful organising a place to store and recharge our bikes. As I am partially disabled Dave carried out bags to our room, The room was very comfortable clean and tidy. Dave advised us to go to the Ploughman for dinner. It was a perfect choice, within 200metres of the BandB, great choice of food, and with a nice atmosphere. It was perfect. The bed was really comfortable and gave us a sound sleep. In the morning we met Alison who served us breakfast. She was very attentive to all the guests. The menu for breakfast was extensive and we enjoyed our choice greatly. Our stay at this lovely BandB was most enjoyable, and we thank Dave and Alison for making our stay most enjoyable.

Nothing

Off the main road made finding the property very easy, although the entrance was a little tricky to manage in heavy traffic. Rooms were as described and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed a great breakfast. It's a short drive in to Aberdeen and to the Botanic Gardens indoor area (especially on a rainy day). The hosts were very helpful and communicative.

Very friendly hosts Breakfast is absolutely great - a very good selection on offer The room and facilities are adequate. Excellent pub-restaurant close by - the Ploughman For those who wish to read an excellent selection of novels (for men at least) cannot comment on those for ladies.

Only parking, but that is impossible to improve because of the location. Limited parking on site but parking in the immediately adjacent side street is readily available.
