We stayed in a Luxury Queen Room which was accessed via a private outdoor staircase on the first floor. It looked out over Calle Jose Maria Pino Suarez which proved to be a quiet street. We had a Juliet balcony above the hotel entrance. The room was plenty big enough and had a really good bathroom with a wonderful view onto the private garden below. There was a large corridor between the bedroom and the bathroom. The hotel reception staff were wonderfully friendly, ditto the breakfast server. The breakfast was excellent. The wifi was good and allowed us to check emails and listen to Radio Caroline's internet broadcasts. The garden complex was huge and we never saw anybody else in it. Indeed, the hotel was very quiet. There was a wonderful honesty bar in a garden room that we made use of in late afternoons and after retiring from dinners. The Tikua restaurant next door is very good.

The hotel was very quaint, clean, and decorated in a modern, yet traditional way - so nice! The staff was exceptional - friendly and always willing to be of assistance. The location was great - within walking distance of most everything. The breakfasts were very, very good, and the service was excellent.

The WiFi was spotty, at best, but it did not interrupt our stay at all. The water was only hot if you took a shower at night. I assume this is due to a smaller size water heater that gets more use during the day. The hotel was so charming that we gave allowances for this!

This was a beautiful stay. The space is gorgeous and peaceful. Breakfast at an additional, reasonable cost was great. The staff was really warm and helpful. And Monica at reception was delightful. She let us move to a room with more light and sent us her list of favorite places. An additional bonus is the fantastic restaurant Tikua next door.

The first luxury room we checked into had a skylight instead of a window, which was important to us. Monica let us move to a room with a window. If that is something you care about, you should inquire when you make your reservation.

Location was great, very close to museums and great restaurants. Loved the fluffy towels and bath mat. While breakfast is not included,at attached restaurant, you did get a discount and it was delicious!

This hotel needs some more sparkle. Room needs some refurbishing, perhaps polish the tile inside the rooms. Stairs and upstairs lobby furniture need replacing or refinishing refinishing. Place is a bit tired. Never got wifi to really work.

My reservations on Booking.com Did not match what I thought I reserved. We had a few unhappy travelers who had to share a king size bed. The management did the impossible to accommodate us. I am very grateful. Thank you

Staff, location, friendliness, cleanliness, free breakfast, lots to do, great food, beautiful place to stay with lots of history.

We have stayed in several hotels is Querétaro and this has been by far our favorite one so far. The hotel is in a very good location. While it's in the center of everything, we were able to find peace and quite within the hotel. The hotel has a lot of beautiful spaces to hang out and have breakfast at. The staff is very friendly and very responsive to any need. Our bed was very comfortable. They offer several options for breakfast, the menu even has a vegan section. We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in the historic part of the city and the common areas and rooms are unusual and artfully decorated. It is definitely a place to go if you are interested in an unusual experience. And the breakfasts are excellent.

The only thing that I didn't like was that my room has a big step in it to access the bathroom. I had to be careful in the dark to get to the bathroom at night.

I liked the breakfast it was prepared just for me. The staff was very friendly welcoming me each day as I returned from working. My room was very clean. The halls were mostly open to the sky allowing several gardens to flourish that I enjoyed on my way to my room.

No coffee pot in rooms. waking several hours before most I would have enjoyed a cup of coffee in the early morning. I cannot think of anything else that I did not enjoy.

I have been curious about Querertaro for a while as I have never been beyond the airport when in route to San Miguel Allende. So, after spending 5 days in SMA, I decided that I would spend my last 2 days in QRO. It is a lovely town and I would go again especially now that I feel like I have a bit more knowledge about its layout and such! La Casa del Atrio was a great location and this made it easy to explore and wander about. I was travleing alone and I felt safe. Many others have mentioned the breakfast and now I know why! It was delcious but what I loved is that you have several great options to choose from. This is a served breakfast and not a buffet. I am still leary of buffets in the days of covid. The hotel has a great spa and I took advantage of its services. I had a one hour massgage, a 30 minute foot massage and a facial for equivlent of $135.00 US Dollars. I would recomend this hotel whne looking for a place in ORO.
