It is located on one of the best beaches in NJ. There is a heated pool conveniently located right outside. There is a shuttle to the boardwalk. Servers poolside and a bar set up close to the shore. Staff set up umbrellas, beach chairs, and lounge chairs and help you on and off the beach. Helpful with the hot sand, small children and people who can’t walk the distance. There were activities that the kids sign up for. Tasty restaurant on the premises.

Getting into and out of the parking spot. It was a little steep and my car scraped a little bit. The cell phone service wasn’t strong in the hotel room.

The location and facility

My one disappointment is in relation to the gym. The exercise bike, which is one of the two total pieces of workout equipment in the gym, was broken. When I asked about whether it would be repaired, I was told it has been broken for some time. As the only non-impact piece of machinery in the room, it was disappointing that it has been out of service for an extended period of time and not repaired, as a long standing non-addressed issue.

The rooms were very nice.and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to stores, restaurants and amusements. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We really liked the free parking.

The patio door didn't lock. Our first night in the Restaurant it took a long time before anyone came to serve us. The head Restaurant staff did finally come over and apologize and assigned a waiter to our table. How ever we were compensated with drinks and appetizers which was very nice. Bathroom sink top is really to small to place toiletries. No other location for toiletries in bathroom. The bathtub was fine for children but not seniors. I would have preferred a larger shower that I didn't need to step into.

We love the location and easy access to Diamond Beach, the kitchenette that is equipped for making some meals in the room (necessary for a family), and the beach service (chairs, umbrellas, towels) plus that you can order food and drink at the bar. The beach is clean and safe. The staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a good job and I appreciate that they replenished towels. This was our second stay here and we’d return again!

Elevators seem like they need work - they get stuck. And are a bit slow. There was some rust in the bathroom - edge of wall.

Icona Diamond Beach was phenomenal—a rare gem on the Jersey shore! It was beautifully designed and welcoming. The suite was far beyond expectations—kitchen, dining area, seating area, two televisions, lbedroom and bath. The staff was very accommodating and the entire hotel was immaculately clean. The restaurant and poolside food service were excellent! The tiki bar on the way to the beach was a beautiful surprise! Especially loved the live music! And, of course, the ocean was the pièce de résistance! Stunningly gorgeous—complete with an extraordinary beach! Just superb!

There was nothing to dislike! It was exceptional!

As Always everything was Great, but this time a special mention for MS MARGE SCHOENEWALD front desk .. I forgot my jacket after a day later I realized I left it and she went beyond and above checking the room and it was there even using her own time and money (one of the other front desk employees told me )to send it off through the post office .MS MARGE make ICONA that much more of a great place to vacation for my family or friends or sometimes just for my husband and myself ❤️ Much thanks to Ms Marge from Kim

The room is very clean. The balcony does not overlook the next room balconies, so privacy is maintained. Bathroom is next bedroom, so, when sleeping my husband hard to go to bathroom. When I got cut my finger, I asked the front desk if they had any ointment, and they gave me ointment and a band aid.

There is an air conditioner on the balcony side, but when it is running it is very loud and fills the room with warm air, so we can’t stay on the balcony! The quality of the bed was not good. My back hurt when I woke up in the morning!

Friendliness of staff, Clean large room, proximity to beach and the amenities. The pool area was spacious and did not feel overcrowded. Room service was fast and easy to order- the menu options were plentiful. Location of this Icona is on the quiet end of town and exactly what we wanted.

The beach restaurant/bar struggled to keep up with the lunch crowd and it took almost 45 minutes for the server to bring drinks, then another 45 minutes to get food. I think it would have been easier to just walk up to the bar to place order.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is amazing! It is one of the cleanest hotels we stayed at in USA. Congrats to the housekeeping teams. We did appreciate the individual bottles for shampoo, lotion and all that stuff. I personally think it’s more hygienic that way than pouring some products from a larger bottle to a smaller one on the wall. Kudos for that! The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming, they make you feel at home. There is an EV charger at the hotel but you won't be able to use it if your phone is not activated on US market as you need a special app that was not available for our Europe enabled iPhones. Even though from what I understood the actual usage of the charger is free of charge for Hotel customers.

Wonderful hotel with an ocean view. We arrived late at night, but the staff greeted us as if we were family — very kind and welcoming. The historic part of Cape May is just around the corner, with lovely walking areas and excursions available. We only stayed one night, but we’ll definitely be back
