I like almist everything as the hotel met our expectations. The hotel was recently renovated, so that made our staying nice. The staff was friendly. The restaurant and the food variety from other restaurants around the area were great (Le room service). The hotel room service and cleaning staff were great also.

The only complaint was that the mattress and pillows weren't very comfortable. You could feel the springs mattress on your back. Also the AC in the lobby in the hotel needs to be set higher, or they need to protect better the building facade from the sun.

Having to queue for coffee as generally only one machine working which was also very slow. The coffee itself was disappointing and you actually only got half a cup!! This was an annoyance to ourselves and most of the other guests present!! We also experienced an unusual noise that we could hear in our room, which sounded for about 2 seconds every 10-15 minutes 24/7. I mentioned this to reception but did he not know what it could be. We got used to it, but very odd!!

The only strange thing is the bar and restaurants are closed Sundays & Mondays. Everything else was perfect especially the location

Location was perfect. Breakfast was average and good,. Room was spacious and clean.Receptionists were cooperative.We faced a problem when our check-out was at 6.00 am ,and asked the receptionist one day before to prepare our breakfast for takeaway since our train travel was a long one but unfortunately we discovered in th train the meal was inadequate and disappointing. Also some amenities were lacking no bottled water or facial tissues in the room. Finally only the receptionist was available all the time. Upon arrival we asked for help to transfer our luggage to the room but there were no personell to help us.

The hotel is in a great position, around halfway between the cathedral and the macarana. Check in was quick and easy, probably because i checked in online earlier. The room was a good size, not huge but not cramped either, and was clean, tidy and well equipped. I was solo female traveller and felt very safe both in the hotel and in the area around the hotel.

The bed was a bit hard for my personal taste. There was quite a bit of noise from within the hotel too. I could hear people in the corridor quite clearly and was able to hear the upstairs room flushing the toilet, which wasn't a particularly pleasant noise. I've not spent a lot of time in Spain however so I'm not sure if this is a common building design flaw. I had ear plugs though so didn't bother me at night

The room on the 7th floor with the big terrace is a big plus. Nice view. The cleaning ladies do they job very well and are very friendly. The bathroom is very spacious and even has 2 sinks, so no wait to brush your teeth. A good variety for breakfast but probably not for a 4-star hotel. The location is the best part, close to everything.

The room looked a little bit worn. They try to fix some fix and cover it in paint, but some renovation need to be done. Noise in the morning because some construction sites are close by. Take into consideration it is a big city with all that comes with it.

We got a double room quite spacious with king bed Identical to photos on the listing Receptionist were kind and accommodating

Bed was big but not ultra confortable (we could feel the separation in the middle of the 2 mattresses) We were probably lucky to get a double bed because, strangely, even if you book in advance you are not sure to have a double bed if you’re 2. We found some hair in the bathtub and on the floor near the bed and the bathroom Very disappointed by the breakfast : We were expected either a real english/american breakfast (the hotel is called America) or a typical Andalusian. There were no pancakes, and some products (e.g. tomato beans, mushrooms) were probably from cans… not tasty at all. Also, for a Hotel called America, it would be notable to have the housekeepers to speak a little bit in English ;)

The hotel is situated in an ideal location in the centre of Seville, close to shopping and scenic areas, 10 mins walk from the bus station and 2 minutes from one of the hop-on/hop-off bus stops. The hotel staff were excellent throughout the hotel. They were friendly, efficient and helpful in all our transactions with them. The hotel is well appointed and nicely decorated and well maintained. Our room was excellent and we had a kingsize bed and double bathroom with a huge shower. Air conditioning was easy to operate and efficient. We enjoyed our four nights in the Hotel Àmerica Seville.

Unfortunately there was no bar on the premises and the dining room closed on two evenings for dinner service due to unforseen circumstances we were told. This did not present any problems as the area is full of bars, tapaceria and restaurants.

Location was really good.New building, equipments were new.

The day we were flying out, there was a Sevilla-Zurich Marathon. We asked the staff how we could get to the airport, and the only answer we received was, 'No, you can't; the city is blocked.' They weren't helpful at all. They didn’t recommend any options or search for any information. The only response we got from the staff was, 'No, the city is blocked, no city is blocked.' This marathon isn’t happening for the first time in Seville, and I'm sure we weren’t the only couple facing the same issue. The hotel staff had no idea and didn’t make any effort to find a solution. The only answer they gave us was: 'You can walk to Santa Justa train station and take a bus or taxi from there.

The breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice to meet one’s likings. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a very good stay and would definitely stay in this hotel if we plan another holiday in Seville. I recommend it. Bus no 32 that goes to the train station Santa Justa passes just in front the hotel. Seville is a very beautiful city with a lot of architecture and beautiful churches. It also offers lot of pedestrian streets, shops and restaurants and is lively even late in the evening making it a good option for everyone.

Perhaps some kind of fountain in the reception area of the hotel to make it more welcome and lessen the outside traffic.
