This was a lovely establishment. It was very clean, and it had no strange Smells, which is a big plus for us. It had floors instead of carpets which I love, because it stays so much cleaner. The mattresses were very comfortable. In the morning, We went into the pool, which was clean and beautiful. The proprietors were kind enough to allow us to stay an extra hour so we could enjoy the pool. This motel is situated on the side of the river, so we were able to sit on benches and enjoy the beautiful River, and we got some firewood from the gas station across the street and Had a lovely fire. Additionally, The location is great, close to so many things and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

The Blackout curtains don't reach the end of the windows, so you are unable to completely cover the windows. I wish there was one more curtain panel, so we would have been able to keep our room dark and private if we chose to. This was a small issue for us.

Friendly staff, clean room, access to lovely wading-depth river behind property. Conveniently located for Franconia Notch region attractions, but peacefully distanced a few minutes' drive from the main shopping and tourism center in town. Lots of chill families staying with their kids, who LOVED the pool. Wish we'd had time to use the shared fire pit!

Metal bedframe was a little creaky, but comfortable otherwise. Wi-Fi a little spotty - good thing we weren't trying to sneak in any work during vacation! Shampoo not the best, but if it matters to you, you're probably bringing your own anyway.

Large and well lit room. Clean and tidy. Towels and bed clothes clean. The people who run the motel are very nice and pleasant, always seeking to please and accommodate. The coffee machine leaked, and was immediately changed.

More charging sockets would be appreciated, especially near the beds and writing table

Breakfast not offered. Discount offered at coffee shop in sister town.(excellent coffee, ground daily) Pool was spotless, as was room.

River access could use improvement.

We arrived at Mt. Coolidge and it was very clean! The staff was friendly and it was such a pleasant stay. It was so close to the beautiful sights. I highly recommend staying here!

I didn't realize there was a community microwave to use. I wish I'd known sooner. My elderly parents had a hard time getting in the shower. It would have been good to have a handicap excessively room. (I don't know if you have one.) You

Great experience that all the family really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms and inside cabin environments were very clean. The river behind the cabin was very accesible and the chairs available were very nice to relax with a nice view. Parking for us was conveniently right in front of the cabin

The bathroom lock was difficult to open when fully closed and the outside cabin door was not fully functional from the inside but nothing to worry about or to deminish the great experience

We had the family cabin and it was fantastic for our family of five. Great amount of space. It is a super cute cabin. It is right on a creek and they set up chairs, lights and a place for a fire. The owners were super friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Beds were a little hard for our taste and the a/c didn't really make it super cool in the cabin but we opened the windows and that worked perfect in combination with the a/c.

The Mount Coolidge Motel is a true gem. It was refreshing to see an older, independent motel that has been tastefully updated and well-maintained without obliterating the decor and charm of the past. Our rooms were immaculately clean and well-ventilated, and one of our rooms backed up to the Pemigewasset River, which gave the room the beautiful sound of flowing water when we opened the back window. The property has abundant outside seating and a lawn with grills available to guests. There is a very nice pool that is also nicely maintained. The owners are very personable and work hard to give guests a beautiful and restful place to stay. Although the motel does not serve breakfast, they are affiliated with a cafe in Lincoln that has wonderful homemade pastries and breakfast sandwiches. We can't say enough good things about the Mount Coolidge!

Loved the location!! Views of the river were amazing, loved that there was a fire pit and chairs to sit and enjoy the river. When we arrived, we were greeted outside by a staff member who directed me to the front office. He was very friendly and welcomed us to the Motel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Can't wait to stay here again!

The only thing I would suggest would be to have more lighting outside by the rooms that are close to the pool area. When came back to our room late at night, it was very dark trying to get into our room.

Its a no frills motel, but for what it it is...its great! I booked last minute for the fall foliage escape looking for place to stay without breaking the bank. All other places were ridiculously high. I wasn't expecting so much but chose this because of the great reviews on cleanliness. For sure they delivered! This place was very clean and quite comfortable. Family owned and operated! Thanks for a great stay!
