The Hotel 29 Lepic is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Montmartre. It is situated between the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Cœur, and the Blanche metro station offers quick and easy access to the rest of Paris. The neighborhood is full of charming cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and small supermarkets - everything you need is right around the corner. Despite its lively location, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. My room was small but well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a surprisingly spacious fridge for snacks and some food. The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming hotel in Paris, this is a great choice - I’d happily stay here again!

The only minor downside was that the toilet was positioned very tightly in the corner of the bathroom, making it a bit uncomfortable to sit on. Also, the shower water was occasionally a bit cold, likely when many guests were using it at the same time. However, this was nothing too bothersome and didn’t affect my overall positive experience.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! Being in Paris, I was expecting a very small room, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was the perfect size for us travelling for a long weekend as a couple. The hotel is in a really great location. So many cafes and restaurants around. Our favourite coffee shop was just opposite the hotel serving tasty coffee and amazing pastries. We went to see Moulin Rouge and with that finishing late, it was so nice to just walk a few minutes and get to the hotel instead of trying to catch a taxi or public transport. All the beautiful Montmartre sights are just a short walk away too. Plus, one of the main metro stations is a couple of minutes away so can catch the metro to all the big sights. Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely come back!

The floors were very squeaky!

Location/Room was very good in probably the best area of Paris

The bar attached to the hotel has a problem with people over a certain age (over 40s), you could say they were 'Ageist' as when we went in for a drink the girl who was behind the bar told us 'we are fully booked up', (which wasn't the case) She just didn't want to serve us as we were somewhat older than the rest of the people in the bar. Due to this we didn't bother having Breakfast at the hotel

Hotel very central in Montmartre and - which is rare - very quiet. What really blew me away, was the friendliness of all staff and that explicitly includes the cleaners and the night staff. We were staying with our very elderly golden retriever who has to pee pretty much every three or four hours at night and the night staff always were so friendly, helped him back on his legs if needed, gave cuddles and smiled. So rare to find this and so SO appreciated. I am not sure whether our four legged darling will be able to return to Paris, but if so: this hotel again! And if it's only the two of us: yes, again as well this hotel. Thank you so much!

Perfect location for an evening at the Moulin Rouge and exploring Montmartre. Our room was on the top floor and we had a balcony which was warm and sunny in the morning with a fantastic roof top view over Paris. We had breakfast there from a little bakery on the corner

We chose the hotel because it had a little bar. It was closed on Sunday and Monday and Tuesday was reserved for a private function. However this forced us for an evening walk around the area and there were multiple bars within a few hundred metres

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's 5 mins walk from a metro station and lots of nice shops and cafes in the street right outside. You can walk to the square at the centre of Montmartre in 15 minutes and there are great restaurants even closer. We loved the small balcony with table and chairs although it wasn't warm enough to sit outside in January. The room was nicely and simply decorated and warm.

The room was very small. The breakfast wasn't included and was very expensive so we didn't try it.

The hotel is in a great part of the city, literally just between Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge. (On the minus side, Rue Pigalle, a few short blocks away, is basically Sex Shop Street, so if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, perhaps this isn't the locale for you.) Lots of wonderful cafes and bistros around the area. The hotel has an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, but the selection isn't great. There's even a Five Guys nearby if Americans are yearning for fast food.

The room I was in was very small, with little storage space and poor lighting in the bathroom. Plus one of those ubiquitous half-doors in the shower meant that the floor was always going to get wet and so one of my towels was going to dry that up--I constantly had to ask for extra towels. It would be so easy to put in some shelving in the bathroom, and better lighting, and then this room would be much more convenient.

The hotel is in Montmartre, which is a cool, vibrant district. It was very clean and friendly, and was within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. Our room was very clean and reasonably priced. It might be small for some but was fine for us since we spent most of our time out exploring. One important thing about our room: It had air conditioning which is sometimes hard to find in Paris. Our room was very quiet and we were very happy with our choice to stay here. If you're up for a bit of a walk, Sacre Couer is available, but the artist area below it is more interesting than the cathedral, IMHO. While you're there, be sure to check out the Museo de Montmartre - it's terrific. It gives you a real sense of what the area was like prior to the construction of Sacre Couer (which, BTW, was viewed as an insult to the locals at the time). If you want to experience a real cabaret (not the Moulin Rouge, although that's fine if that's what you're into), go to Lapin Agile. A group gathers around a central table and sings, play piano and accordian, etc. You come and go as you like, just like it was back in the day. There are no breaks or intermissions, so don't wait for any. A very unique experience. For a terrific lunch/early dinner, try Hôtel Particulier (get a reservation). Very elegant, the food is beautifully persented and delicious. It can be somewhat expensive, but we had a shareable meal (don't worry...it's actually on the menu and appeared to be the most requested meal when we were there).

Room was nice and spacious, breakfast was limited option but delicious. Location was brilliant, it was in the heart of the city with everything in walking distance (if you're not traveling with kids). With kids, you can easily Uber it to anywhere in 10-15mins. Multiple restaurants and cafes around and amazing atmosphere. And very warm people.

Nice place, lovely people, nice room and service, nothing i can think of as a negative really. Maybe add a few more options to the breakfast menu, atleast a variation of eggs, that'd be nice.

The entrance to the hotel was stunning, staff were friendly and really helpful and spoke great English. Omg the bed in my room was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (well for by my own of course lo). Reception were very accommodating in holding our luggage after check out to let us do a final bit of exploring before leaving for our flights. The hotel is situated in the centre of montmartre one of the most beautiful parts of Paris. It has easy access to other attractions like the Eiffel tower and Notre dam we used the Bolt app and drivers were available within minutes and cheap. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast although had a fruit salad, could have offered single pieces of fruit. Although we were down quite late for breakfast so maybe these had been snapped up. This wasn't an issue as we had our own and filled up on croissants and baguettes that were on offer.
