One family member couldn't get in another establishment to join the rest of the family, so booked a room here. The room was separate from the pub, but overlooked the beer garden at the front. However, it was still very private with the windows blinds and curtain. The room was large, as was the bathroom. Cereals, milk, tea and coffee were supplied for breakfast. The room was finished to a high standard and the bed large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and overall, an excellent room and location for a nearby wedding.
Nothing to dislike

I did not catch the team member's name, but I think he was the manager, who checked us in and looked after us through the afternoon/evening was exceptional and made us feel at home. The location was lovely, the attached pub was great and it was fantastic value for money for the 6 of us. Waddington us scenic and has two other pubs that serve breakfast within 2 minute's walk.
It is an old cottage with some damp and I think some areas could just do with a touch-up

Good location, big property, perfect for big group for night before my wedding. Clean and tidy. They had provided a great option of breakfast items like cereals and biscuits which were lovely !
The parking was a small problem as only got 2 cars around the back, so we had to park further down the road and walk with our bits. The shower in the main bathroom wasn’t very powerful and was a bit dirty with hair in the plug holes.

A very warm welcome from our host who showed us around and talked us through the facilities. The room was beautiful and so cosy and warm with some lovely extras which were much appreciated. The pub was really busy which was lovely to see and the room is definitely sound proof. We did not hear a peep from outside all night. It was bliss. I had a lovely bath this morning which was a great start to the day. I love the waterfall taps! I didn't try out the shower but it looked amazing and I definitely want to come back and try it out next time! In the morning, we walked around the village which was so beautiful. All in all, an absolute gem of a place.

We loved our stay at the Lower Buck Inn. The room was perfect and had all the little comforts we needed for our stay. When we arrived we got a lovely welcome and the staff were all really friendly and helped us with all our requests. The room was very clean. The rooms are above a pub and we were warned about the noise, but we expected this due to the rooms being above a bar!!! And as we were told it did quieten down, we got a really restful sleep. The Inn doesn't offer breakfast but there are different options that are local and a stone throws away, which the staff explain when you arrive! We would definitely stay here again!
It doesn't have breakfast but we knew this when we booked and there are local options at close by establishments!

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for our group. It was clean, well presented and had all the charm that you’d expect. The open fire made for a cozy lounge room. There was a basket of breakfast treats left for us and some lovely local milk in the fridge. Waddington was great. The 3 pubs that we went in were full of character, friendly and offered good food. We will be booking again for next year.
Nothing negative to say

Nice location in village just outside of Clitheroe. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage was comfortable Had the best nights sleep in ages. Located right next to the pub which serves food.
I think we chose the wrong weekend with it being Mother's Day .. We could not reserve a table due to the fact that it gets busy of a weekend. The owner did offer to accommodate us even offering to serve food in the cottage Tried to book in other local pubs but also busy. If staying on a weekend would recommend that you book a table in nearby pubs if they have space available

I booked a couple of the rooms and the cottage for me and my groomsmen, all the rooms were well looked after, clean and very comfortable. Ideal location with St Helens Church opposite. Ed the landlord was brilliant, he was so helpful and supportive and even opened up the pub early on the day of the wedding to help with some pre wedding nerves! The food was also excellent! For anyone visiting Waddington, getting married or going to a wedding in the area, then I can highly recommend staying here.

The pub is set in a lovely quiet area. Parking is on street but free. Check in was detailed and even shown to our room. Room 2 was spacious and clean. They do supply an iron and a hairdryer. Great shower and very comfy bed. The pub does not serve breakfast but they do put fresh milk, cereal and pastries in your room in case you fancy something. We went to a local B&B, Waddington Arms, for breakfatlst which was a 1 minute walk away. Overall a lovely stay, thank you.
Change the iron to a steam iron

It was a lovely cosy property with plenty of room and the pub was very friendly. The staff were very accommodating and are new so are in the process of refurbishment in certain areas. I sure they will get things great in no time.
Some of the furniture could do with some TLC. Eg, knob on bedside missing and the draws felt like they were going to fall out. I had some mug marks on my bedside unit and a towel had been left hanging behind the door. The shower was very small in (not the master room one the main one) I found it difficult to wash my feet as there is no room to bend.
